Re: Michigan Tech Offseason Thread I: Not Winning and the ensuing drama.

The power's out from Copper Harbor to Escanaba. Just in time for the presser (although MTU has generators). I'm trying not to look for a deeper meaning here.

Is that UPPCO only or is that include Wisconsin Electric too?

radio report was that "UPPCO reports power is out to 105% of their customers" whatever that means

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason Thread I: Not Winning and the ensuing drama.

Someone at UPPCO sucks at math, that is what that means.
I've noticed that hockey coaches are similarly bad at figuring percentages of effort required to win games. Hopefully Mel has this confusing topic solved.

Lighten up bigblue.............................maybe someone at UPPCO was trying to make a funny because when I heard that I knew they meant EVERYBODY.

There are a whole bunch of stupid people in this world, most of them don't understand the concept of percentages.

Because 100% wouldn't mean everybody? Really? I think we found someone else who really doesn't have a firm grasp on the concept of percentages.

Grrrr. They cut the feed and pasty.net is dead. I'd have liked to listened to Dirk talk to a few of the guys...

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason Thread I: Not Winning and the ensuing drama.

Can someone post a recap? Pasty.net was down and couldn't get the Tech video to work here at work

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason Thread I: Not Winning and the ensuing drama.

Despite what you might think you fit right in...
There are definitely parts that I fit perfectly, but the biggest nerd stereotype of sitting around playing video games and watching star wars is nowhere near me. I was always with the crowd at Tech that worked on their trucks/snowmobiles and drank non-stop.

huggy w/ Suzanne, love this place, always wanted to come back, thanking deceased people, facilities second to none, academics a plus for recruiting, a lot of hard work ahead, was recruiting over the weekend, haven't picked captain(s) yet, will let the players play, will be aggressive offensively, no timeline for success (won't give up on this year's seniors making great strides), learned from Red to treat players like professionals. Thank you and good night.
