This is quite true, and a plus for MTU's recruiting of a coach - nowhere to go but up. The same could be said for Cary at UND.

Well if he's being interviewed, he might be. But so might the others as well, right. There were reports Danton Cole was going to be introduced as the next Spartan coach. Time will tell but he certainly wouldn't be my first choice.

I hope Chuck is wrong. But i am sure it only comes down to "what MTU can afford." I am sure Eric Rud is what tech can afford to pay for a coach.

Dear God no. Rehiring Mikesch would just make this a lateral move. Not happening.

I assume the MTU AD works at the paint store.

I bet she interviewed Rud when MTU hosted the regionals in Green Bay.

Well the selection committee hasn't interviewed anyone. Also, the Gamblers were in Iowa that weekend.

Johnson's Jerseys is hearing that Jacques Lemaire might also be MTU's guy, but you can put equal stock in both of those statements.

If a decision is made before May I will be very disappionted, regardless of the cantidate chosen. There is no reason to rush this decision with what is at stake.

There a lot of bloggers out there that think they know a lot. I would not put any stock in it whatsoever.
I don't think the money is the issue.
If he gets it right he's big in his own eyes, if he gets it wrong well he just a blogger. I wish he would butt out because he might have an ulterior motive anyway.

let's face it. this looking for a new coach thing has been going on awhile. I would imagine they already have a short list. they are going to want to get someone up and going as soon as possible.

After tonight's performance by the Sioux, his stock is falling. Time for Tech to swoop in and sweep him up. That way he can move on to Tech rather than have to make excuses for that semi-final game.
