Well... that was awful. No flow, poor shots, breakout was not pretty... They need to come out tomorrow a different team.

Ouch, we really struggled to move the puck into the UAA zone.

Mel postgame thoughts:
We did not do a good job of the forwards helping our d men
Not a good effort, really disappointed in how we played tonight
We got away from our system, tried to do it individually, not going to have success that way
Have to go to the tough areas near the net, didn't do that early
Genoe had some big saves, we left him out to dry a couple times
Very disappointed
Have to play well without the puck
Robinson in net tomorrow, nothing against Kevin, was always planning on splitting them this weekend

this was exactly the problem we had last year. lazy without the puck, poor back check, poor out of the zone. Exactly the same as the loss against mankato also. Should have been and were certainly capable of a better game,Especially after a week off. I'm not naming names, but when you come out of the zone and you force the forwards coming in to wait for you to get out, that is a problem.

Why do you care so much? Fans of teams who are actually IN the league don't see it as a concern, yet you think it's some kind of travesty.

former Husky John Young's son committed to UMD. This makes me sad, mostly because it makes me feel old.

Nice shutout for Robo and the offense was much better. Very different than Friday night!


Mel's postgame thoughts:
No question everyone played better tonight
Total team effort
Learn how to prepare and ready to go, we'll be a good team
Need to be consistent now
Robinson had a real good game, good positioning
Coach Whitten great job with PK group
Wanted a grittier game, team responded and got rewarded
