Josh Meyers...he's on our roster, but hasn't played a game yet...and from things I've "heard", it's not b/c he can't crack the lineup. Not sure if it's an NCAA clearinghouse issue or what not...the situation from the get-go sounded like DaCosta's...but never has been confirmed. He was one of the highly touted freshman from this class, if not the highest!!! I've seen youtube video of him. Kid looks like a true snipe!!

Hoky...you have any info on Josh Meyers and why he isn't playing?? It's not a talent thing.

Exactly what you say is what I heard. NCAA can be a pain in the rear. Still gets 5 to play 4.

So do you think he will just sit out this year and play the next 4 years or do you think if he can, he'll play this year.

Murphy is currently listed as a 2013/2014 recruit. I wonder if MC plans to bring him in sooner.

IMO there are a few line combos that could work, Sheen-Bates-Collins and Flanigan-Bly-Todd may work well with similar styles being on the same line. I personally think that the Sheen-Madsen-Flanigan line has gotten stale and shaking things up will translate to more point production.

Curious if you are stating as fact or probability? If he's as talented as it sounds, and this is the last year of having that stud 'tender in Cannata, do you not play him this year? Just curious if you were saying as fact of as probability.

Everything Machnik and McMahon have indicated is he will be ready for second semester. Hokydad is usually right, but we'll see.

I guess it would also depend on when the NCAA get's off their a**es and gives him the ok to go. So, we'll see. Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated.

Well one of the top competition in HE has gotten significantly reduced this week. Sad to see. Hate to see any program have a black eye like that.

Yup, impossible to replace the depth but they have a ton of talent and players who will step up and take the ice. Goale and D will ahve to play harder

Offense continues to struggle, and Bigos continues to take too many penalties. 1 goal in 4 of the last 5 games is not a good sign. Yes, they have an excellent defense, put that's a ton of pressure on your D and goalie when the best you can do is 1 or 2 goals a game. Here's hoping that the break gives them time to recover from their injuries, and to figure out a way to score some goals!

Wanted to commend MC on the production of the TV broadcast Saturday night. Always nice to see more HE games on TV and it was much better than when BC was on that channel @ UMass where it looked like someone was filming the game on their iphone.

Well, hopefully a matchup against some creampuffs on New Years and a Big Weekend at the Boston schools is enough to get the team jumpstarted again.

Myers has been cleared to play as of Dec 30, obviously any offensive depth we can get at this point will help
