Having made 2 trips "East" to Erie already this season, I'm going to stay home and watch this one on your internet feed. I noticed it's not B2, but rather "Teamline". Any quirks? is the quality on par?

Water main break in front of campus has left the ice rink with no water. Not sure what is going to happen but when I know, I will let you know.

Game postponed due to water main break. Rescheduled for the Tuesday before they play each other again.

At the half way point in the season, Mercyhurst has 12 shorthanded goals. They have only given up 9 power play goals. Their short-handed percentage is 12/119 or 10%, which is a better percentage than 7 D-I power play units. And Agosta is taking the year off.

I have been told the record for short handed goals in a season is 19 by Minnesota in 2004-05. I think Hurst has a chance at this, especially since they are now looking to score on the penalty kill. Any chance they get, they are chiping the puck out to center ice in an effort to spring a forward. It is a pretty effective penalty kill strategy, since the pressure makes it really hard for the PP to establish itself in the zone. They are second in the nation in penalty kill (and lead the nation in penalty minutes, which is not a great thing, but when you are scoring more then you let in...)

That season, the Gophers had 14 SH goals after 10 games. The opposition made adjustments, and when we saw opponents the second time around, they took better care of the puck while on the PP.

Jesse Scanzano is not listed in the line-up on the St. Lawrence live stats. Anyone have a reason why?

I have no idea as I am in Sarasota Florida but I can tell you Jesse wasn't dressed last week for the second game that ended up getting cancelled.

She's (23) playing today. Lakers down 1-0 at 7:54 of the first period. B2 live is AWFUL!

Scanzano puts the lakers up 5-2 with her second goal of the game. Assists by Cockell and Bram.
