The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Bendus puts the Lakers up 1-0 about 5 min into the game. Lakers carrying the play but Clarkson has had a couple 2 on 1's. Laker D hustling back to thwart any real chance however.
Mercyhurst carried the play in the first 10 min. but Clarkson picked it up in the last 10 min. Clarkson has the momentum at the time so the Lakers are going to have to take it away quickly in the 2nd.
Late arriving crowd and I would say there is another 1000 today.
Pattenden made a spectacular save shortly after the Tendler goal.
Rossler puts the Lakers on the board again but the Lakers take a quick penalty and the Knights capitalize when Thibault puts the puck past Pattenden.
Bendus killing the penalty before the third Laker goal was a thing of beauty. She literally had the Knights chasing her around the back of the goal for at least 20 seconds. Funniest thing I have seen in awhile.
Pam Zgoda scores her first ever goal to put the Lakers up 4-2 but seconds later the Knights score to keep it a one goal game. I think Omand scored it for Clarkson.
The Lakers have to find a way to get up two goals and keep it.
Both teams tied at 5 going to OT. All Mercyhurst after the 5th Clarkson goal. Clarkson went into the prevent defense after their last one. We know how that usually ends up.
Better now than next month I guess. SOG in the period were 15-8 Mercyhurst.
Niagara played with grit even though Mercyhurst was clearly the better team. Bauer (sp) played very well though. Should be first star.
