We had a mononucleosis outbreak in my HS back in the Stone Age.
I caught it, and spent only one day in bed before soldiering on, but another kid in my class reportedly died from it... It hits different people in strikingly different ways. No one seems to succumb to the virus anymore, but recovery-times are still widely variable.
I was hopeful that Parker would have a breakout year, because I think he might have the tools to put the biscuit in the basket. Likewise, I think that Maine will need a Devon Shore (or somebody else out of the Blue) to contribute significantly in 2012, because I just don't see much potential firepower on paper on this roster, otherwise.
I'm not a big Timmy fan, but he showed us a little flexibility in his approach last year. IMO, he'll have to pull out all the stops to keep Maine in the mix in the coming one. Our only hope is rock-solid D and 'tending, and that is a bit of a stretch at this juncture.
