Maine - the Golfing Season

Re: Maine - the Golfing Season

Hey Forsyth, you claim to be helping the hockey team out.
Howsabout taking the president of Friends of Maine Hockey role?
Friends is in huge need of volunteers who love the program, just like you, and who have time to run the lobster fest.
Surely that book is not taking ALL of your time?

what's that????

crickets?

Runsub, is there even going to be a lobsterfest this year?

Re: Maine - the Golfing Season

On a different note, this pertaining to the Programs sold at the rink...wouldn't it be fitting to put in a few pages{4-5 pages..?on the Womens Team..??? I mean a Team photo...a schedule...a little bit of tidbits on recruiting and returning players along with info on the Coaches...I know this is a Maine Mens Hockey thread, but the programs are only sold at their games....just a Labor Day .02 thought.

Re: Maine - the Golfing Season

Not good news at all...but Thats Hockey...but one thing for sure, they have enough incoming forwards...plus forwards from last year, play forwards at forward and leave the d-men as d-men...this crap of always moving D to F and F to D when you have the extra players and they know there position is sickening...a long time fault of TW...another year of roller-coaster player shuffle from postions they are not famliar with...there better be NO EXCUSES before the season by TW...these are the cards dealt, play them and adjust with it(imo). good coaches do...............

The D this year will probably be the best players on the ice............

I just hope we do not see that crap trap hockey waiting for a turnover and back on our heals all the time...........or dump and chase hockey with no puck posession

Anything is possible this year...I don't know just yet what to make with this NEWS today...it has to hurt no matter how you slice/dice it up...here's where the Goaltending will be the upmost importance...has to be steady...not streaky or up/down...my only concern is we need a netminder that can steal some games...and I don't know if Sullivan can,I know that Ouellette has never been able to handle it and my hope is incomiong Morris can turn some heads....oh well That's Hockey...

Re: Maine - the Golfing Season

How does a foot injury that's set to keep him out 13 weeks mean he's out for the season? That seems way too premature to say that.

Doesn't it say he'll be in a cast 13 weeks, that doesn't mean he'll be ok to put on skates after 13 weeks

Re: Maine - the Golfing Season

Even so, it would have to be more serious than just your average broken foot for him to be out the whole season. Maybe Whitehead just prefers he redshirt.

Who knows with Whitehead but this team doesn't have much depth at Forward and Parker was going to play a big role. Its a big loss for sure

It is just an option if things work out that way.
