Re: Maine Recruit Updates: The Search for Spock

Cal's lack of height was a real detriment.

Horseshoes and hand grenades

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: The Search for Spock

Interesting. Maybe all they have left is required donation seats? I know when I moved my seats from the triple letters down to lower bowl chair-backs, I was told that the middle sections on each side were the only ones with donations.

Neither my seats nor my fathers seats were charged a donation, unless we're grandfathered?

moved my seats this year to some with chair backs in section K and there was no extra donation required

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: The Search for Spock

agreed... Close only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades. In this case, it is not close

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: The Search for Spock

Hoky, is this Cam Brown kid any good? I know you say he's really really small, but usually those small kids have to be darn good to get a D1 scholarship offer... or is Whitehead at fault for giving him a scholarship? I give the kid credit if he really is as small as you say for even getting this far.

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: The Search for Spock

kudos to anyone but if a 4/4 or even close it is absurd. proves the tim lovell favors from whitehead theory floating around.
it does not make sense

Cam Brown and Connor Leen both top ten in EJ scoring, good for them, and Maine.

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: The Search for Spock

I think that no matter what happens, this (sadly) is probably our last year with Gus.

Leen is listed as 11 or 12...and if he continues to have the year he's having and looks developmentally ready, he'll be apt to bump up to next year.

I really like what is happening defensively. It looks like Rutt/Gingras/Harris > Dimmen/Banwell/Van Dyk. Nice replacements.
