Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

A key issue would be that the University would be on the hook forthe salaries of Tim Ghandi, Corks and Dan"without a plan" kerluke, because new guy may want a clean sheet....lets call it$500K, + a new staff at around the same ticket, so $1MM in salaries in 2013=2014....What do you gain by spending $500 K you don't have laying around, v. wait 12 months and then let Jimmy, or a Jimmy-like savious come in....? Recruiting is delayed to be sure, this freshman class doesn't get the development they need/deserve....ticket sales fall off....OK fire the man now :)

Many different scenerios for sure but would this not affect the committed recruits also? Can't see anything happening until contracts are up or renewed

Updated after this weekends action

If you noticed Liam Pecararo hasnt been updated recently...The Advantage haven't played a league game in a few weeks...I know they played in the Beantown Classic this past weekend but individual stats arent available.

Blaine Byron participated in the Canada East camp this weekend for the WJAC so obviously he didnt play this weekend for Kemptville.

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

Blaine Byron had a goal and assist last night in his team's 3-1 victory in a scrimmage at Canada East camp

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

Blaine Byron has been named to Canada East roster. I believe games will be available on Fast Hockey for free. When more info becomes available I will post it.

I updated the page today https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlPPTB_OrNptdGU1SDJyMVVpSTRrMVNCeXdfMENYenc#gid=0

Ryan Badger has appeared to be traded to the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings according to the USHL transactions page. The trade supposedly happened on Friday and I have emailed Kalamazoo for confirmation as he didn't play at all this weekend.

Liam Pecararo had a big weekend with a goal and five assists in three games.

Maine lost out out on defenseman Tucker Poolman to North Dakota. http://undhockey.areavoices.com/?p=91870

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

So apparently Kalamazoo has traded Badger to the Valley Junior Warriors (EJHL) one of the top teams this year in the EJ.

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

That Jr. Warriors team is just stacked...

No Kidding...Badger made his debut for them today recording no points in the 2-1 Win over Rochester

Blaine Byron and Canada East is heading to the Bronze Medal game tomorrow night...He has 4 assists in 3 games at the WJAC.

I would think the chances of him coming to Maine were pretty slim to none.

Re: Maine Recruit Updates: Monarchs and More......

The bronze medal game was won by Switzerland 6-0 over Canada East (Blaine Byron's team). Canada East had defeated them in an earlier round. Apparently, that game got nasty toward the end, something the Swiss weren't accustomed to.

Canada West plays USA in the Championship today.

What I have gathered Maine hockey recruit has signed their National Letter of Intent. Ryan Cloonan & Eric Schurhamer are expected too. Schurhamer will be out for two more months due to an injury.

Speaking of Cloonan Hockey's Future has profiled him and Portland Junior Pirates Haralds Egle http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articl...avid-showing-signs-of-becoming-the-real-deal/ (Both at the bottom third of the story)
