Ya got's to do what you got's to do to keep playing..................particularily this year with the potential lockout at the NHL system.............backs up the whole system .......No one wants to go backwards...........Good move to play Junior A and keep the options open.........and trending upwards.

Was there a change of heart, I saw earlier this week on USA Hockey's site (which has all protection lists for all USA Hockey governed Junior Leagues) he was on Des Moines' roster

Yes there must have been apparently he likes Hawkesbury and it is close to home (town is fairly French speaking also). Hope it works out for the young man

I updated this weekends games. Biggest news of the weekend Liam Pecararo played in Saturday night's exhibition game. I will find out more if thats a permanent move

So the Boston Advantages had games in Chicago this weekend the Blackhawks went and picked up Pecararo for Saturday night's game He will play for them again this weekend at the USHL Fall Classic. The decision will be made after the Fall Classic if he goes back to midget and play ten games throughout the year for Waterloo or play for Waterloo for the entire season.

Is anyone else mostly unimpressed by this group of recruits for 2013 and 2014? How many commitments has Whitehead gotten over the past 6 months?

I think next year's class could be pretty good. Morgan, Gareau, and Renouf are all good recruits. Maine could use one more good forward. As far as the rest, I think it's too early to tell. I'm sure some will be deferred and some probably will never show up.

Agreed the stats for the USHL players are preseason stats. Lets not jump to conclusions just yet.

Interesting a 95 birth year and coming in next year. Will gather more info this week. Will also update stats tomorrow too.
