Better than being a Fascist redneck. :)

Next time you're out, I suggest you tell a woman she's a good piece of a**. I'm sure she'll take it well.

abb, your compassion, humanity and class are exactly what I expect of Maine fans. Don't worry about exceeding those expectations.

God Almighty, Priceless. You're an inspiration. That's why they must pay you the big bucks to roll out your liberal road show.

Workers of the world, unite!!

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

Having watched a bunch of top-end WCHA teams this year,I'd say that there's not a great team in the country right now.

The fallout from NHL's recent CBA deal seems to have busted the elite college programs down to the level of the mediocre ones. One needs look no further than last season's NCAA's to notice the upheaval.

Doesn't appear that Maine,nor Minnesota,nor Wisconsin,nor ___ will just be able to "reload" anymore.Maybe it's good for the sport,this parity..?(Except for the "Maine" part?:o)

Screw it,I'm going to be the first to predict a UML national title this season!

Hockey East is just a jumbled mess this year. I think you got two groups, the have somes and the haves not so much. BU,BC,UML and possibly UMA in the first group and all the rest in the second group. Right now, doesnt seem to be much difference between the teams.

Ultimately I think BC will rise to the top if they play the season with passion....more talent overall I think than UML and BU. The lower tier teams are just gonna have a slugfest all year with anyone beating anyone else on any given night.....too much parity.

Gotta believe UMA will cool off a bit as the season progresses and UVM will stabilize somewhere near the middle of the pack....after that, its which teams play the most consistent all year. That fourth spot should be a real dog fight.

UML has a real good team...should contend for Hockey East Title, regular and Post season,Top 10 rankings...and make the NCAA's......BUT Denver will win the Big Show in Detroit come April 2010.....

Denver, maybe! Watch out for Rico and the Redhawks.

You are right there also...I have them pegged as the 2nd most likely team to win it all....good team with youth learning experience from last years Frozen 4....they could very well be on a Mission...

Awesome, dbl dough, dbl cheese, hamburg and pepperoni, heart attack in a paper dish:p

Same thing I'll have as well. I'll let you know when I'm coming up. I will gladly pay up. Maybe we should bet every game. Seem's to have sparked something. :D

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

Man, I would kill for a Pat's veggie calzone right now. When UMaine students used to be able to put Pat's delivery on our meal plans, I believed Heaven existed.

When that was taken away, I became an atheist. God doesn't exist.

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

What did everyone think of the cheerleaders on skates? They would look even better wearing short skirts.

They were wearing short skirts. Which cheerleaders were you looking at?

Don't worry about it, all in good fun.

I said they would look even better wearing short skirts :D Maybe on sunday they'll have on different attire.

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

I require photographic evidence of these cheerleaders.

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

The voters forgot one of the HE teams in this week's poll.

Who would have thought that we would be in the 1st week of November and every team in HE would be receiving votes in the national poll except Maine! :(

TIMMAY!

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

Look at a bag of Purina dog chow, woof woof:p

Too bad!

The one thing I like about the Minnesota program is their Nordic blondes skating around, showing off their athletic legs and what-not.

That was a stroke of genius that probably can't be duplicated by Girls Who Eat 'Taters...(But I would put my money on the Maine girls in a street fight.)

I like referring to them as BMW's (Big Maine Women):D
