Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

I agree.........just wanted to let everyone know that the immaturity, lack of discipline, and lack of adjusting to the college game has NOTHING to do with his age. He isn't a 17/18 year old freshman.

My immaturity and lack of discipline has nothing to do with my age either.

Maine is going to win tonight

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

I'll bet you a pitcher of beer and a Pat's pizza they don't. You can pay up the next time I come up to a game. :)

Was that a Walrus-sized pizza and pitcher? You're buying! :p

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

Pretty good game tonight. Hopefully they can continue to improve as the year progresses.

Good GOALTENDING, Good OFFENSE, and Good COACHING

Timmay! had the night off. Shawn Walsh's Corpse coached the game.

Unfortunately, he committed three NCAA infractions tonight and Maine will have to forfeit the victory.

Awesome, dbl dough, dbl cheese, hamburg and pepperoni, heart attack in a paper dish:p

Best game I've seen Swallow play in a Maine uni. Shemansky is a blast to watch. While Diamond hasn't scored he is very responsible on both ends of the ice.

Lot of blocked shots for Maine.

Darlings lone mistake turned out OK, I figured the flood gates would open but...

The 2nd period sucked, Maines PP was awful in the 2nd, I swear Tim was coaching not to lose in the 2nd, they played a 5 man weave above the dots on the PP in the 2nd, 2 different lines never went below the dots. Finally Dek came out and camped out.
Vermonts PP sucked, in fact their offense sucked. Goon owes Maine for another week of trolling for Cats fans:p
Are UVMs Uniforms new this year?, they suck, in fact I'd say they were PC pajamas awful, UGLY.

First time I realized Steve King no longer has a skybox, good job Blake, you're a freakin idiot

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

Outstanding game by Maine. Too, bad there were only 4200 there to see it. UVM got "schooled" by Maine. They are huge but could not skate with Maine and didn't move their feet. Hence, the 10 PP's by Maine. The DeK, Shemansky and Flynn line was clearly the best all night. The only goal Darling allowed was a "soft" one. He was outstanding. A great win.

Do you want to eat that, or shall he just inject 20 pounds of lard straight to your heart?

Why would the Kings have anything to do with the school after they told him to take his radio station and stuff it? If I were him I'd ask for the money back from the swim teams.

Re: Maine offseason part II...Countdown to slightly above the Mendoza line.

Nice win tonight. Hard work 1st and 3rd periods, but 2nd was rough. Have to find ways to put 60 min together. I liked the lines tonight. House line was solid, no goals, but many chances. I agree Wally, Diamond is all over the ice. Seems to have good toughness and speed. His puck luck will change soon, with any luck... Mangene line with Shemansky and Dek was extremely fun to watch. Shemansky and Mangene get after it. Speed from those two. Dek's size and speed is noticably better. Flynn Abott and Dee had chances too. Dee appears to have improved. Flynn's motor never quits and Abott seems like he could become a quality sniper. Swallow Lidermark and Anderson were adequate. I like Anderson's speed. Swallow played hard all game. Good pk man. Liedermark needs some work. The D played pretty well. Dimmen is just solid on both ends of the ice. Hegarty is a work in progress. Van Dyk and Banwell looked ok. Oneil is tough and plays both ends of the ice as well. Darling was fantastic on 3 or so short handed chances. He can definitely steal some games if he plays like he is capable. Progress for sure tonight. Hopefully a confidence builder. Lets see what happens next week against BU. A lovely Sunday afternoon home game.
Someone asked me how I was feeling about the team and I said not confident, but always optimistic. Keep the faith.

Why are you such a tool?

Do you still have your brain tumor?

I still have 5% of the mass, assuming it doesn't grow back between MRIs. Eventually I'll have a second surgery to remove the rest of it.

Your concern for my well-being is touching.

Ohhh. Nice edit!

I figured that I don't need to lower myself to your standards to make a point.......glad to see that you are on your toes waiting for someone to post though.
