Thats never/ever going to happen, and "IF" he did...two sentences later there would be someone or something that he'd throw under the Excuse Bus...he's over matched...just once i'd like to hear timmay say something like this... candid and honest... no excuses....
Air Force came out and played poorly the next night and got beat 5-1....
It was brutal but he will be OK.How bad was the oconner hit?

Good stuff. Seems like a quirky guy, but one hell of a coach.
Why is he a great coach.
Have you seen how well Air Force has done when it gets to the NCAAs with the talent they have? Even when they loose they typically give the opponent fits. Clearly a good coach.
I don't get it. Why is he a great coach. He admitted that he only had one player that played well and threw all of the others "under the bus". He never explained why they performed so poorly and never took personal responsibility for their play. He obviously knows the game and could identify their shortcomings. Lots of coaches can analyze the game and determine what went wrong.
What are our chances to make it two in a row?
Picked at the Bottom, but ahead of Maine right now...UMass could give Maine fits with there speed...Ouellette needs to be sharp from the get-go...oh and playing at HOME...wasn't it last week that it was better for them according to TW and a few players to be away from Home...can you think of that...better to be on the ROAD instead of @ Alfond Arena....boy have the days of Maine Hockey gone down the drain...Alfond was the ACE in the Hole for UMaine Hockey...nobody wanted to play there as they knew Maine would be all but impossible to beat....NO MORE THOU...If Diamond plays, making it four in a row should be a priority, three games, two teams picked at bottom of HE standings, all at home.
C'mon, The guy coaches at Air Force and gets them into the NCAAs. I realize they get in the easy way but once in the team performs at the top of their ability. Compare and contrast with Timmay. Timmay 18 Scholarships, Frank 0, Timmay teams(one with his recruits) one appearance in NCAAs Frank Multiple appearances in NCAAs. Timmay, doesn't say **** with a mouthful, Frank ready to unload when he sees something amiss. Which one is more fun?I don't get it. Why is he a great coach. Compared to Whitehead he gets more to most out of what he has to work with...talent wise TW has more on his side and does little or alot of times these so called talented players regress...AF may never win a NC,but one thing for sure is if you play them in the NCAA's...you'd better be up to the task as his Teams will not fold and may even pull the Upset...as far as Maine in the NCAA's,under TW now thats just a thought...technically, all of serratore's boys are on a full ride... they just have that pesky post grad commitment thing that presents a bit of a barrier... and the whole can't recruit non-u.s. citizens bit...
