Maine wins 4-3 looks like they have to be a more offensive team than a defensive team in order to have a chance in winning...

Ahhh, it feels good.:) This was a critical win, and just may get this team on the right track. Certainly was important for their confidence.

Almost didnt go tonight. Nice to see a win. Overall pretty slow game, plodding, sloppy on both sides. Those turnovers that led to Lowell goals 2 and 3....eeeesh.

Leen's shorty was nice, good burst to get by the D.

At one point in the game, Maine had almost an entire line of freshmen on the PP. Lomberg, Shore, Merchant, Hutton and the lone sophomore Rutt. What's interesting is that Maine won without Diamond.

what's your take on what happened at the very end? wilson try to get front of the net and get taken out by o'connor

looked at the box and he got 5 for contact to the head and a game dq... misses the next game on a play where the puck was dropped with 3 seconds left... foolish penalty

They announced a game misconduct unless they changed it after.

Those two goals at the end of the second were AWFUL to concede. I'm absolutely delighted with the win, I don't care how they got it.

I'm pretty sure they made a rule a few years ago that if there is a coming together after the play the faceoff moves to neutral ice. Maybe it has to do with the dmen coming down from the point? Its something like that I think.

Nice to see a win, but a "2-42-1" video is still a possibility for this season, if there is some emergency extension of the college RS to make up for the NHL lockout.
