Maine 2012 - The Good, the Bad, or the Ugly??

I'm sure a lot of people are going to disagree with me on this, but I think you either of the talent and desire to make it or you don't. Its up to Devin Shore if he makes it in the NHL, not Tim Whitehead. If he needs Timmy telling him to work harder he probably doesn't have much of a chance anyway, which I hope isn't the case.
I give up...!

Looking at the remaining schedule I think this team will be lucky to get 3...maybe 4 more wins. At what point does this team quit on Timmay? How long does it take for everyone waiting in the wings to de-commit. Even if Timmay gets fired at the end of the season they could end up losing a whole recruiting class. Remember how that worked out a few years back???? It's going to be a long, lean few years coming up.

I saw Shore for the first time last night. It must have been an off night for him because he did not get much done. Granted, there is not much of supporting staff around him but, what I noticed, was zero explosion. He was two steps behind every play. Has size and is powerful but his good hands are only displayed in areas of the ice where he is not a threat to pass or score.
UMaine better start rebuilding fast; they look horrible and were fortunate that the goalie kept it close. Diamond got hurt which didn't help but UMaine has the most depth in Hockey East: It
has 4 third lines.

I didn't see the game last night but didn't Shore setup Maine's only goal?

I think that they will do well in Florida.......they always do!

he did, but it was not really any kind of great pass... he simply got the puck to the point on the PP, and Hutton moved laterally (like the others seem not to know how to do), got an open lane to the net an fired a laser

how can he possibly be ready for NHL speed if he plays and practices at Timmy's tempo?
how can he possibly know NHL positioning if he plays giant-mites-everyody-on-the-puck?

Timmy has a lot to do with getting guys ready or not getting them ready

3-1 Shore with the goal First 2 goal lead of the year...

Edit: Doesn't really matter... 3-2 now

Edit 2: 3-3 at the end of the second period...
