"If there was one thing that Shawn left on all of us it was that we will never be outworked," Capuano said.

"Shawn installed in all of us the amount of time you had to put in to be successful. There wasn't the technology and video that there is today, but just on a daily basis on how Shawn presented himself, how he ran his meetings, how every meeting was meaningful. He never had a meeting that didn't have a purpose. He just had a will not to be outworked and that left an impression on us."

Its the same way at Club Timmay :) You'd think Shawn would have rubbed off on Timmay , guess not.

Maine Hockey then,the Coaches & Players were always Accountable and there was not too many times that they were ever out-worked and if they got beat,which did happen...they went right back to the meetings/practices and had a way to combat what may or may not have been the reason for a lost...they were prepared and you knew if there was a change in the game,the Staff had plans during the game...it was a well run Program in that they came to play and the other Teams knew that it would be a task in itself to beat Maine. We were truly spoiled those days and figured it would never run dry,BUT IT HAS and that in itself is TW,like it or not he will never/ever come close to bringing back respectability to Maine Hockey...time has come to tear it apart(Coaching)and go in a direction with a NEW Coach...it will not happen over-night,but there will be a positive feeling if it should happen.(imo)

Pryor with another concussion. Too bad, the guy can't get break. If I was him I'd hang'em up, especially after seeing what happened with Jr. Seau.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers it but Jimmy made a similar save his freshman year at NEU as the one ouellette just made on Roy, one of the best I've ever seen.

3 games back of Merrimack with even games played....needless to say the next 3 are pretty big. 2 games in hand on NU and 3 on Vermont. Points in the next 3 could at least get them in the mix for the tourney.....if Merrimack sweeps at Alfond they're probably done. Crucial 8 days for Maine.

At least one upperclassmen shows up, good to see Marty played well again. Is there a JR or SR forward that is playing well this season? the silence says it all

Replay showed that the official had a very quick whistle when Diamond's goal was disallowed. The puck glanced or bounced off the top of the net and was not resting there. I don't know the rule, but how is that any different than a puck hitting the side of the net and being deflected in? When goals are at a premium it's more difficult to see one taken away.;) Also, why wasn't there a delay of game when NU covered the puck?

By the way, nice job by NU x-streaming. Good feed and the two announcers did a good job (except a few tired cliches ):) and were not "homers".

Juniors and Seniors have been "Timified", hence nothing more to give.

5-12-3 will take the wind out of anyone Sails,not and excuse but we have to realize that this is not the most talented team around,a few would be good but they have to be surrounded by talented and with some Elite type players...to compound this is you have a Coach that CAN'T bring the best out of his players & a timid style to boot...it's the same old/same old,until there's a change behind the Bench the recruiting and talent base will decline to the bottom. Maine Hockey is a MESS and the light at the end of the tunnel is flickering OUT.

I went back and forth between them and Bryan Roche on WMEB. The picture was outstanding and the announcers did a great job. On three different occasions the color guy commented that Northeastern was lucky not to get a penalty called. Luck or...

That was a ridiculous non-call. Even the Northeastern announcers were saying NU caught a break. Dollars to doughnuts it was whistled because the player in question was Joey Diamond. If it had been anyone else, it's probably a goal and Maine wins.

Shemansky from time to time among the seniors. Anthoine among the juniors. The underclassmen are definitely carrying this team right now.

I knew that Maine wasn't scoring much, but just to give you an idea of how bad it's gotten, in 20 games, Maine's leading goal scorer has 5 goals, while in 18 games, BC's top 5 goal scorers have 12, 10, 10, 9 & 6 goals respectively. Nobody said Maine was going to score at the same clip as BC, but that is downright scary... :eek:
