Bob Corkum's under 17 team defeats Germany 4 - 2 in 5 country tournament. This is an excellent venue for a college hockey coach to develop a rapport with youngsters. If it leads to one or more of these kids coming to Maine, I view it as a bonus for the Maine hockey program.

Face it Coach Whitehead is one of the best in college hockey. If Mr don't KNOWITALL has an issue, well folks that's his problem. Get glasses and enjoy watching some awesome hockey. Maine is a quality program. It ranks with the best so if you dont like it thats just too bad, because nobody is listening to you boohoo boohoo

Just give ONE example of how Coach Whitehead is one of the best in college hockey. It had to of been a challenge for him to achieve so little with the amount of talent on last years team. The only thing he has shown is that he is clearly incompetent. Good coaches with good teams in front of them don't lose.

Don't panic. Things will work out. We have a great coaching staff. We also have an excellent group of players that we as fans should be very proud of.

Oh yeah, we're so proud of sub-.500 seasons and being eliminated in the HE quarters... Being great implies that they win. This team doesn't win, therefore they're mediocre.
This team has had the talent to win, but I'm preaching to the choir, we all know why they can't win (TIMMAY).

IF you believe that Coach Whitehead is one of the best in the business, then are you saying the players at maine are not up to par, and are worse than at least half the teams in Hockey East? Its either the players, the coach or both, and seeing that we haven't made it to the NCAA in the last 4 years, and have no hockey east regular season titles, no hockey east playoff titles, and actually failed to qualify for the Hockey East Playoffs , that some body is not doing a good job. You can't have a great team, a great coach, and over the course of 4 years have nothing to show for it. I am not sure if Maine even has a winning record over the last 4 years. I am glad you are a passionate fan that believes in his team, I will also root for them every year, and wait excitedly for the upcoming season, regardless of performance, and pay money to see them, but I can recognize that something is wrong when no results are gained, and not be delusional that everyone and everything about the program is great.
