Looks like more info on the Fenway game. Might be old news. Unfortunately, takes a key home game away from the Fond as it states we would be the home team. Perhaps we should also play a home BU game at Gillette Stadium too. Oh well, hopefully good publicity for the team (assuming they don't lose too bad).

Anybody with season tickets in sections U and V might want to call the ticket office to see where there seats are now. Those sections are gone now. Of course they don't know, telling me the seats aren't in yet so we can't tell where displaced ticket holders are going. I said, you guys don't have a plan as to what seats are going to be in that area. No is the answer. TF. They might put me anywhere, I said I paid for seats in Section V Row 10, seats 1 and 2. I want the seats I paid for, she told she doesn't know and will write that in my file. I have a feeling they'll be giving me a refund

Section V is now section S. Section U is now Section R. Not to mention the top two rows of where your old seats were are now ADA seats. So you're screwed. Did they really send out renewals before they finalized the new seating chart? That's not good. In addition, they're using a whole new ticketing system, to further complicate things.

They changed all of the sections. Here's a table to help find out what section is what now. Some sections have been combined.

Are you asking for a refund or implying that you will get one? I can't tell. You're seats (regardless of section name) have been replaced with ADA seating. If you've already paid, I would ask to move somewhere better (chairbacks), even though your old seats were pretty good.

I want a refund if my new seats aren't satisfactory, I want aisle and the last row. if they want to put me in chairbacks I might accept that

You want to keep on there tails,as I had friends that were moved a few years back because of the New Lower Enclosed Box seats...it took them 3 years before they got the seating close to what they had before...the first two years they tried to get seats,but were given seats and if they didn't care for them,they were told you can have a refund and try again next season....well they came to watch hockey not get the run-a-around of refunds and next season stuff. Hopefully this NEW A.D. can see there's problems that will arise from this renovation project...but I can tell you if you don't stay on them you'll be in worst shape then you think.

This Alfond seating fiasco is a disaster.......from a public relations standpoint and a revenue standpoint. What the hell are they thinking up there in Orono???:confused:

Abbott better nip this one in the bud, or his name will be worth about as much as Blake James...........

ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine football team, in conjunction with the Friends of Maine Football, will be hosting the annual 'Meet The Black Bears' on Wednesday, August 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Alfond Stadium.

There will be a FREE football clinic with the coaches and the team, FREE posters to get autographed by the team and a FREE barbeque.

When was the last time the Maine Hockey fans got something "FREE?"

Fenway's official. Maine's giving up a home date, presser at the ballpark Friday with more details.

Does anyone know if they are selling single game tickets for the up coming hockey season? I plan on coming up from Providence to see the 2 Providence games in late October. Had a great time 2 years ago when PC played 2 up in Maine.
I tried going on the goblackbears webpage but there isn't a link to buy tickets online.

Thanks for any info you might have.
