Re: Lunch

My lunch was kind of sad today. Can of Campbell's Split Pea and Ham Chunky Soup, a Clif Chocolate Peanut Butter protein bar, and a bottle of Powerade Zero Mixed Berry.

Re: Lunch

11 months and 8 days between posts. Then it was 0 months, 0 days, and 8 minutes between posts. Interesting.

If you ever had Hotel Hickman Chuckwagon BBQ you would want to brag about it as well.

Uncle Otis Burger (bacon and guac) and fries from Dan's Tavern in Clinton today.

Re: Lunch

Had Guinness beef stew and some bread board (beer bread, Guinness bread, soda bread) earlier here in Dublin. Murphy's Irish stout to drink.

Heading out soon for dinner, probably fish and chips for my final meal in Ireland until next time.

Re: Lunch

Jimmy John's #8, no tomato. I removed half the lettuce at the table. One regular Fuze raspberry iced tea.

Re: Lunch

It was delicious

As far as the chains, I'm a Jersey Mike's (extra vinegar) guy for cold. Potbelly's (with peppers) for toasted.

Quit JJs a few years ago when I realized their subs are basically encased in mayo bread. Also, their peppers are bland compared to Potbelly's.

Re: Lunch

Jimmy John's is good when they hand you a free little sandwich as you leave a Michigan hockey game. I think those are the only times I've had Jimmy Johns in the last decade.

For cold subs my preference is DiBella's.

Boss is taking our group out to lunch today. Metzger's. Delicious German food and beer (though beer may be frowned upon with us coming back to work).

Does Metzger's focus on butchered foods and any vegetables offered are merely pro forma?

Re: Lunch

Lunch today, Krakus 98% fat free Polish ham with thinly sliced red onion and a schmeer of Grey Poupon mustard on Arnold Oat Nut bread. And a bottle of water.

Re: Lunch

I recently had a chance to go to Shapiro's in downtown Indianapolis. The reuben was phenomenal and mammoth. I wasn't hungry for 24 hours. And then there's the dessert counter ....

Today it's PB&J, hold the J, with a diet Dew.
