Well, I was going to have a bag of chips from the vending machine but the effing thing got stuck. Whatever. I scrounge up some quarters and figure I can just throw the extra bag in my desk cabinet. Nope. The GDMFing second bag gets stuck. *rageahol*

At that point I was out of cash.
Good hip check will solve that problem. ;)

Re: Lunch

The turkey and avocado sandwich at New Holland Brewing was also disappointing. If you're REALLY watching your calories, this is the perfect sandwich for you. Otherwise, avoid it.

Re: Lunch

Made two of these to try this week:

http://www.seriouseats.com/2014/09/diy-instant-noodle-cups-food-lab.html

Both are chili garlic beef, though I did not go through a serious effort to find or make kimchi, and opted for spinach, with extra sriracha and a dash each of ACV and Worcestershire, instead. Since I have a lot of whole wheat spaghetti on hand from the last sale on Barilla, I opted to use that in lieu of buying specialty Asian noodles. Just have to parboil the spaghetti, pulling it right before it's al dente.

Can't wait to try it tomorrow.

Forgot to report back on these - they were surprisingly awesome. That said, beef jerky is appallingly overpriced for the amount you get in a single package.

Re: Lunch

Nothing.

Because the ****ing grill at work closed 5 minutes early and I couldn't get away from the equipment startup before then.

Re: Lunch

mookie is working at the house due to snowcropolous and the trains not running with garages full due to parking bans.... so mookie was forced to cook himself and made big soft taco with chicken and jalepenos smothered in cheese topped with sour cream and salsa

Re: Lunch

boiled cabbage.

It's surprisingly good if you remember to add the beef stock, ground beef, sweet onions, garlic, salt, salt, salt, chili paste, celery, celery salt, pepper, and grated carrots in reasonable proportions.

Re: Lunch

I worked from home. Threw together a nice salami/cheese/olive/hummus/baguette platter, since I live in Michigan's inferior answer to Edina. ;)

Re: Lunch

A Cobb salad from the Sam's Club cafe, along with a yogurt parfait. The salad was poorly executed; the parfait was great,

Re: Lunch

Chipotle:
Bowl, eat in, white rice, black beans, chicken/chorizo, green, corn, cheese, lettuce topped with chipotle Tabasco. Water. Chips and green salsa.

The chorizo isn't bad, but it's not as good as even Cub Foods'
