I realize he wasn't going to start, but we'd always have fun conversations with him during the game while he was on the bench. He was our favorite.

It was actually just a funny piece of writing. I can swap his name out for anyone else... but it just won't be the same.

The guy I'm really going to miss is Stephon Williams from Minnie State- I found a screenshot of a hilarious texting conversation between him and his girlfriend posted online, but then he went pro before he played BG again. So is the life of a hockey fan... or lack of a life, I guess.

Edit: According to a post back in May, poster Dougie G said that Nardi, Clemment, Harris, Megariotis and Miller would be cut. We'll see if that's true or not when the roster comes out which should be anytime now. I could also see Luke Sandler being cut if he had any discipline issues over the off-season.

Sandler is still listed as a freshman, on the roster on the LSSU website, so I am wondering if he has been cut. The rest of the freshmen from last season are now listed as sophomores on the roster.

I've noticed that too. I also noticed Drapluk is changing numbers this season, from number 25 to 20.

I would imagine we are getting close to hearing who the new coach will be. Not to much time left before school and hockey starts.

The Laker Launch will be happening again this year. It is to be on Saturday, September 26th from 4-6. While I don't have details, I would presume it would be much like it was last year.

I am sure we find out this week next week about who they are bringing in as the new assistant coach .

I am thinking this week, but we'll see. The fact that they have the recruiting pipeline pretty full takes some of the pressure off from having to rush the decision.
