Seems as if the seasons are coming faster and faster and I am not sure if that is a fair trade off as my age seems to be happening faster and faster as well .
You sure can. Stop in and see Linda and her crew or if you have provided the ticket office with an email last year you can login online to renew. I can also help you out if needed. Just give me a call.
Looks like Laker recruit Bryan Basilico will be in Chicago to start the season.

He's a guy who pretty much all of the recruiting sites had initially pegged to be with the Lakers this upcoming season, but I've had a feeling that he might play one more season of Juniors. The Lakers have a lot of prospects lined up and obviously the 94 birth date guys had to come in this Fall. There's only so much scholarship money to go around and I'm not surprised that one of the 95 guys has slipped to the 2016-17 season.
I don't know the details of the rules, but I think as long as he's enrolled in classes in some form or fashion when he turns 21, he can keep his full eligibility. I assume that could even be something like taking classes at a junior college. I don't think Defiel was enrolled in classes when he turned 21 his last year of juniors and thus he lost a year of eligibility.I noticed that his birthdate is 1/27/95. Since he will turn 21 during next season, doesn't that hurt is NCAA eligibility in some fashion? I remember talk of Defiel's eligibility being hurt because of playing in juniors after turning 21.

And he's probably getting a big boost in his paycheck. Good luck to him.It looks like Aubry is leaving LSSU to be the goaltending coach for the Chicago Blackhawks. Not a bad gig, but that's a big blow to the Lakers since it looks like he's an NHL level coach.

I'm thinking there will be 11 new guys, but with Nenadal being one of them instead of Karty.Great interview, thanks for sharing. Whitten never really answered the question of how many freshman were being brought in, though. He did mention Hayes, Headrick, McArdle, and Kossoff by name. If you look at the other recruits with '94 birthdays and solid junior seasons already, we could be seeing up to 11 new players wearing the anchor this season possibly Cuglietta, Hand, Henke, Hultz, Karty, Nellis, and Torrel (all forwards). It will be interesting to see how the roster will look, and if any other veteran players left early.

I think ideally the coaches would have liked to see Headrick play in the USHL/BCHL/NAHL for a season, but he was an OHL draft pick of the Erie Otters and I think there may have been some concern about him changing his mind and going that route. I think he really wanted to play with the Lakers this coming season and the coaches decided to go along with that rather than risk losing him to the OHL. I think Erie has been trying to get him to change his mind and go with them.Good call, Bill, I forgot about Nenadal. With his '94 birthdate and USHL experience he'll definitely be here this season. I'm still surprised that Headrick is coming in this year. I would have liked to have seen him play in the NAHL or BCHL for a season before making the jump to D-1. Either that was a condition of his commitment, or the coaching staff really wants to get him quarterbacking the power play this season.
