Does anyone have any info on the pro camp this week, and if there will be a scrimmage/game on Friday between the pros like Metro stated in his interview? I have that day off work, and would be fun for the kids and I.

What's pitiful is a coach that compromises the reputation of the team , school, values and ethics. Turning a blind eye by barely acknowledging the poor judgement and behavior of 1 person... Not once, twice but 3 times. Incidents reported to LSSU public safety and at least one known incident reported to local law enforcement for the sake of retaining one who has been deemed as a "greasy" player. Shameful ! Damon is not the savior! Keep drinking the "Kool Aid" or as I see it the coconut water. And by the way there are players on Tech that have shared their true feelings for damon to our team and they are glad he is gone. Can't wait for the season to begin.

Life is so short, why not just enjoy the University and hockey team.
You are very lucky to have Damon as your coach. I visited the Soo last year for the first time at the Boo in the Soo tourney and loved the town.
Enjoy and give credit to the team giving it their all.

It looks like the school failed to reach the season ticket target date yet again. They were supposed to go on sale today (original date was July 15) but that hasn't happened.
EDIT: I think they are on sale, but you have to go to the tickets section. For some reason, the school didn't do a press release.

Unfortunately, when installing a system of this size certain issues arise that cause delays (like the sudden departure of staff). I can assure you that we have been working diligently to get this in place as quick as possible, but we wanted to make sure we were able to have everything in place including providing our season ticket holders with the same seats they had in previous seasons. This has been accomplished and we sold our first tickets today during our "trial run".
I would expect tickets to go on sale and a press release to go out Monday. I appreciate your patience and understanding. Hope you enjoy the upcoming season.
P.S. - Coach Whitten had all the pro jerseys moved from "Laker Avenue" to above the boxes so you can see them almost anywhere in the rink. I think it looks pretty cool, but you'll have to let them know what you think!

I moseyed into the rink about a couple of weeks ago. I like the placement of the jerseys - I was able to see them quite well from my usual seat.

It will definitely be a nice view. Also I believe they added Trotman, Acton, Lain, and Czuczman NHL jerseys this off-season as well.

When I drove by the college this afternoon, the sign stated season tix were on sale. I'll have to stop by and check out the new layout of the jerseys, too.

Got another couple viewings of Luke Morgan this weekend as Cedar Rapids held another camp.
Extremely fast kid, who makes plays with speed. Pass first type of kid and not afraid to go to the dirty areas.
I have him penciled in as a bubble kid to make the roster.

You sure can. Stop in and see Linda and her crew or if you have provided the ticket office with an email last year you can login online to renew. I can also help you out if needed. Just give me a call.
