LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

Yep, I think you figured it out.

For the most part, we should have figured out the "everbody dies" part since... well... that's basically what Lost has done over the years: kill off a LOT of characters.

Seriously, name me a series that has killed off more of its speaking roles than Lost.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

New theory:

Everyone dies, except Jack and fLocke.

Jack finds his new purpose as the new Jacob.

The end.

Didn't Sayid say at the end that Jack would be it?

Bummer ending, hated to see that happen. And yeah, a lot of illogical things going on to get things happening the way they have. Why wasn't Widmore guarding the generator?

It just seems to me that everything's happening way too fast this season in order to wrap things up. They go to the temple, the temple gets destroyed. They go to Widmore's camp, Widmore's camp gets destroyed. They run to the airplane, except, whoops, we can't use the airplane now. They're just running back and forth pell mell from one thing to another, with no rhyme or reason except to get to the ending.

So was Sayid acting according to UnLocke's instructions when he got the bomb away from all the people on the sub? Or was that a late redemption for him?

We are betting on late redemption, since he didn't off Desmond.

Also, he told them that since Locke wants him dead, obviously Desmond has some use that they would need.

Wasn't Richard's group suppose to blow up the airplane? fLocke's group traveled all over the place before Richard's group even made it to the plane, which, yeah, doesn't seem likely. Or was it Richard's group that put the C4 there and we just don't know it yet?

Did Richard's group have C4? I thought they only had dynamite.

Speaking of which, where was Richard this episode?

Blowed up.

He can't kill himself by lighting a stick, but surely if it was to Ilana in his backpack, that would work, right?

Yes, but Hurley blew up the remaining dynamite that was on the Black Rock. So they had no way of doing that.

BTW, we should not forget that Miles is with Richard.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

Next week is a Jacob/Man in Black episode, so that should provide some background I think.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

Just announced: LOST series finale is now 2 1/2 hours long.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

Allison Janney! Awesome.

Allison Janney, what the hell are you doing!? Yikes.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

I wish they had more shows like tonight instead of the waste that was season 2. They could have got into so much more detail.. It doesn't seem like they are hurrying through this season.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

That episode just raised more questions. I actually am not happy with that episode. I'm VERY confused.

If they answer them all now, what would they do with the 3.5 hours left?

I loved that episode. Great story telling. I have chills.
