I don't know if everyone has been there before, and speaking for myself, I've only been there once.

I'll have to speak to the aformentioned crew I'm heading out there with to determine if we will be stopping in for a beverage or not. I expect everyone to be on their best behavior if I'm not there to supervise :D

Probably one of the first times I will not be wishing for a snow storm...something trying to push up coast next weekend! Bearing the extent of snowy travel conditions...I will just have to make my best effort to still make it up to the Adrian/Oswego game on Friday...not a game I want to miss but will do so if I get stuck in a big storm down here.

The good news for you is that Greene's serves hot pretzels. West 8th and Bridge St. (Rt 104). I'm sure you'll be there now;)

Can't say that I am a guru on either one. Just know that Adrian hadn't lost to anyone out west since the program started - and with the anticipation for the game with Oswego coming up, that score surprised me.

Surprised me even more that Hamline got em worse Saturday night.

This a a real treat for NY hockey fans. I have to go with :( Elmira over the Birds ( my wife is a Soaring Eagle lady ) and it goes with out saying the Lakers over the visiters from out west..
It should be fun. If I make the trip it will be Green's in the big O and Houligans in Elmira,cause I love the prime rib. My house hold is at this moment after last nights game a bit quite.

I'm glad I'm not Elmira ...waiting for Plattsburgh coming in after their 4-1 loss to the Cadets. The Birds will be some P...ed! And Adrian coming in to Wego after a two loss weekend. What's THAT about??

not to worry up here in Oswego. I'm 10 miles south of Oswego, we've had 54" of snow since Friday. Roads are fine, life as normal up here- we're used to it.;)

I wouldn't be surprised if both the home teams lost this weekend, given the circumstances.

As much as Adrian was focused on Hamline this weekend. They HAD to know the Oswego showdown was just a week away and their first game against a D-III hockey giant.

(Sorry Hamline isn't a D-III hockey giant, regardless of how well they have played lately.)

Spin it however you want to. Regions asides, rankings asides etc. Adrian, IMHO had to have this game circled on their calenders when the schedules came out.

Also, I still say an Adrian win this weekend against Oswego does WONDERS for the western teams in the eyes of the smoke filled room when it comes to cross-region comparisons.

How can it not? Take this for example.

Hypothetically,
St. Scholastica and Elmira are the teams competing for the last NCAA spot. Lets say CSS stomps Hamline this weekend and Adrian beats Oswego.

St. Scholastica gets the leg up on Elmira because they beat Hamline, who swept Adrian, who beat Oswego, who beat Elmira twice.
