Re: It's Primelink Week
Well, only one of us can achieve that.
Well, only one of us can achieve that.

So theoretically I could attend all 4 games and never have a conflict of interests?![]()
Note that if you are "lucky" enough to get "one of your school's alotted tickets", you won't get to see both games, as it is the same 50 seats that are reserved for the visiting team - hense when you game is over you loose your seat and if your team isn't playing yet, well - you get to wait until they are. The seats are the 50 seats directly behind the visiting bench.
The issue that most out of town fans have is Plattsburgh doesn't have much standing room capacity for games which actually discourages away teams fans from coming. Plattsburgh is not that far from Central Vermont but the Ferry cost at least $20. round trip. At both Middlebury and Norwich a fan can buy a general admission ticket and back fill any available seats. This arrangement tends to fill the arena to capacity which makes for an exciting game.
As has been stated in another thread, each visiting team is allotted 50 tickets. Then there's the 1200ish Season ticket holders with their reserved seats that will not be re-sold even if they do not show up. Then there's the student section. Then there's the 1900 capacity.
All in all, you're looking at a few hundred tickets going on sale half an hour before puck drop. If you don't get one of your school's allotted tickets, get there early![]()
Just to make a correction here: On Behind the Bench last night, Emery reminded us that school is not in session, and so the student section is considered general admissions. That's a couple hundred more tickets in the pool.
there are always around 400 or so tickets available at the door, add to that the 400 tickets they put aside for the students and that puts you around 800 tickets available to the public to purchase friday afternoon.
What time does the box office open and would you expect it to be sold out by 4 pm?
Primelink tickets:
Is the ticket good for 2 days or do you have to buy one each day?

There are only 300 tickets reserved for students, and certainly some will be taken by students, I'm thinking 600-650 total available tickets for the door would be a generous estimate, that said I doubt getting a ticket will be difficult - getting a good, unobstructed view - not so likely - and for visitors the student section is on the visitors end for the 1st & 3rd periods. As noted, the "afternoon" will start at 2:30pm, tickets are $12 each day, but are good for both the 4pm & 7pm games (except the 50 free "visiting team" tickets).
When do Plattsburgh students pick up their tickets?
New this year, Plattsburgh students will be able to obtain tickets on the night of the game between 5:30-6:30 pm at the Field House Box Office Will Call window.
Any other questions in regards to tickets should be directed to the Field House at (518) 564-4062.
Just checked the attendance from other Primelink games at Plattsburgh in the good old days:
2007/2008
2132 Friday
1995 Saturday
2003/2004
2174 Friday
2020 Saturday
I think capacity at Plattsburghis is around 1900, hence, it may not be worth the trouble to drive over and have to beg someone from another team for a ticket. I not sure when the renovation was completed at Stafford but I think it was after 2007. Maybe it is no big deal because I have always been able to buy a ticket as long I get there early. How has the attendance at Plattsburgh been this year?
Please elaborate, what exactly does that mean?I They played both games without some of their better players, some because of other sport commitments and others because of a Beaney teaching point. )
