If your best players hadn't gone pro, would your team beat BC?

Re: If your best players hadn't gone pro, would your team beat BC?

Win 10 more titles and I'd still not be envious of your program. Win a few in a row with Americans and you'd have my respect. Win a few more with americans and I would be envious.

So, what exactly don't you understand about the fact BC had ONE more non-American in the lineup than the Gophers?

FYI, minnesota has never done this. so i guess you dont respect the goofers either. now we have something in common

the answer is no. i just want to hear you say it... though its hard to hear over the sound of your argument deflating.

Oh, you so badly wish :)

Irrelevant to my argument, but if you want to focus on that, let's do it. Please list the break-down of each championship roster since 2000 and include the # of American and in-state players.

Thomas Vanek played on one of your back-to-back championship teams. He was from Austria.
Erik Haula is on the team now. He is from Finland.

If the Gophers needed to recruit from outside state lines in the 70's, they would have. Now that they do need to, they do. So drop this retarded argument.

Look at the 2002 roster again. 26 Minnesotans, one North Dakotan.

I'll stop with the argument when BC fans stop telling me I should "envy" their team. You can't out-arrogant a Gopher fan.

His argument is the Metrodome - built on the cheap, ugly, and prone to collapsing.

Goddammit! I am playing a drinking game with myself where I drink everytime he mentions 26 of 27 Gophers were Minnesotans and you ******** are gonna get me fired!

You forgot to mention the North Dakotan was from Grand Forks. I didn't realize you are proud of that. Isn't that the heart of Sioux territory? He must have been the heart and soul of the team.

Well done, sir. Hey at least he stopped arguing that it was "garbage" to say that York hasn't been beating the daylights out of the WCHA since he got to BC (of course, when his team got drilled by BC 6-1 on Thursday that made his argument a bit harder when added to the rest of the evidence).

Nice revisionist history.

While were at it, let's here the excuses for why Minnesota fans out-numbered BC fans in Tampa 40-1 again (always good comedy).
