Hockey East: Anyones Tournament

Re: Hockey East: Anyones Tournament

Boy you are such a big man to make a cheap shot at a little old lady. I can bet she has 10 times the friends you ever will.

Actually didn't catch that it was an old lady who made them -- was just glancing at the game on my computer while covering a high school game.

And for what it's worth, the ability to make delicious brownies is like a top-3 requirement on my list of things that make somebody a good friend. I don't stand a chance in that race –– those brownies looked delicious, and I'm a microwave-only kind of guy in the kitchen.

3 series going to Game 3. Only one that isn't is BC-UMA.

Awesome.

Yeah, wonderful! I love hockey but 3 straight nights is tough on fans and the players. Are we not a couple of upsets away from a half-empty garden next weekend?

I actually think it's good for the league if Merrimack were to make the Garden. It would really show that there is parity in Hockey east, which is a good thing

I would have to say MC probably had more fans there than BU.

Agreed. The mack has played 2 decent games at BU this weekend. I don't know if they win the series, but Dennehy has made the team a formidable opponent.

Re: Hockey East: Anyones Tournament

Are you kidding me? The Agganis Arena has been 1/4th full these past two games. Like BU fans have any right to make jokes about the Garden being half full if Merrimack makes it. Oh wow, its spring break so thats an excuse to totally ignore your team. Give me a break. Just goes to show you how much these students actually support their teams. "Yea, we love our team, but if its spring break we'd rather be sitting at home having our mommies make us home dinners."

if the dorms are closed you have to go home.

and not that many BU students are actually from the greater Boston area...

Im guessing most BU students are from New England. Which means that for most of them it would be no more than an 1 1/2 drive at the most!

havent you ever heard about what happens when you assume? and are you telling me that it takes only an hour to get anywhere in new england? there is so much wrong with this post it's actually funny.

Re: Hockey East: Anyones Tournament

Makes no sense. Am I wrong?

Yes... let me help you, since I guess they don't teach math at Merrimack.

Friday: 3508
Saturday: 3905

Agganis: 6221

Friday: 56%
Saturday: 63%

So yes, you are objectively wrong that Agganis has been 1/4 full. You should also realize both of those crowds have been larger than capacity at Lawler and the games have also been more expensive than any game at Merrimack.
