Re: Hockey East 2010-2011

since it never actually ended, is today still Part I?

No it won't get continued at all. I know when I have beat my head on the wall for long enough.

Besides, hokydad must have some hockey player out there somewhere today that he has scheduled himself to stalk. You can't "watch" that many players and spend all day on these boards... unless you spend your nights installing hidden camera's I guess.

My guess is Candyvan is signed up on all the trade websites (Redline report, USHR, etc) and monitors all the reports from his mother's basement. The guy is clearly a shut in loser who played they game of life and lost. Dont feel bad for him, though, keep laughing at him.

Oh I don't feel bad for him, you make your own bed...

Re: Hockey East 2010-2011

How many accidents would have to happen to the other 57 teams in college teams before that happened?

Well, they'd have to have the fourth best record in hockey east, so they'd have to beat 6 teams. Therefore, I say 6.

The 17 fans in the stands at the Mayor's Cup this year will be watching the Bears hoist that piece of hardware. ;)

Arguably, one of the toughest HE schools BC faced last year was Lowell. I don't know what happens when the River Hawks go up against other teams, but they must leave their 'A-game' home.

this is true but BU beat the Eagles twice as well:mad: lest we forget that:eek:

Yes, agreed. But you expect that from BU...not from Lowell. This is a compliment to Lowell, which, if they can be more consistent across the league schedule, can do really well.

My other observation about the league is how quickly Maine seems to have recovered its lost way. A couple years ago I wondered whether Maine was going to be the Hockey East version of Lake Superior State. Happily, they've bounced back nicely.

geez, you're right:eek:.......... how did i EVER forget that;)

And I would personally like to thank them, as had BC won one of those two games VT would have been watching the NCAA's instead of participating...

Thanks Jerry and BC as a whole.

Sooooo is it Oct yet? Feels like it outside this moring.

Re: Hockey East 2010-2011

saw this and thought i'd pass it on for the UVM faithful:

What a deal

Do you just sit around googling "elephant walk"? You come off as a little obsessed with it...

So do we have a deal... if Da Costa exceeds last years total, you get me a signed Muse Jersey and I will wear it to every game the following season. If he scores the same or less, I will send you an elephant costume and you have to wear it to every game you go to. Pictures have to be provided to USCHO forum of at least one game...

If you want a bit quicker payoff, we could do it through January say...

Ha hahahaha. Strange. I saw this in today's Globe and thought of my buddy jcarter.

Like the Prowler, test prep company Princeton Review’s website ranks colleges by categories young people actually care about. For example, “Reefer Madness,’’ a ranking that answers the question, “How widely used is marijuana?’’ According to PR, the best herb schools are Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara in the University of California system. Vermont puts up some impressive numbers in this category. The University of Vermont places fourth in overall weeditude, and Marlboro College and Green Mountain College both made the top 20. As Howard Dean would say: AWWRRRYYYAHHH!

There is nothing I love better then watching the Dean Scream... cracks me up. I try to watch it at least once a week, makes you and JD tolerable.

Because everyone needs a good chuckle

LOL yet again. Me? I think you have your posters confused (which wouldn't be a surprise). There is, however, nothing wrong with an appropriate elephant walk reference. I can assure you I've never googled "elephant walk". A friend pointed out this site to me and that was one of the deals for Boston.

No, we don't have a deal. It was a joke. I am not a BU fan and am above the age of 12, therefore, will never be asking a college hockey player for his autograph.

How the hell could this bet be done through January? It was a season bet on how many points Da Costa will score. If you win, congrats.
