Re: He's dead, Jim.

Drudge sends out a story that Joan Rivers is 'In a Coma'. My local paper has a story that she is 'resting comfortably'. What's the real story??

Edit: Drudge links to the Daily Fail saying she's in a Medically induced coma.

Story.

If you're in a coma you're also probably resting comfortably. Not many people doing construction while in a coma :p

Re: He's dead, Jim.

Oh, the humanity!

Herb Morrison of WLS in Chicago uttered that famous phrase. The producers of the George C. Scott movie about the disaster made Herb available for interviews. He sidestepped the question of whether he thought it was sabotage, referring to "my own ideas" without offering specifics. After all, the heart of the film (and Michael Mooney's book) was sabotage by a crewman, for which there is no convincing evidence. And said the biggest misconception about his role in the tragedy was the idea that he had gone mad as a result. He told me he was back at work at WLS the next day.

too bad.

i can't hold back is classic rock and beyond classic music video :)

Cobra was a legit metal band. But the guy then ended up singing "High on You" and writing the Baywatch theme song. Can't figure out where I come down on his legacy. :-)

But, RIP, Jimi.

On life support. Not looking good at this point.

Sinn Bodhi (known for his brief run in WWE as Kizarny) tweets that Jake "The Snake" Roberts is doing better and responding favorably to treatment for double pneumonia.

Good for him. Jake was dealt a majorly crap hand in life. Obviously his addictions didn't help, but in this case, I'm rooting for the comeback story.
