Not really. Lots of well to do people made it into their 70s and 80s in the Classical period. Life expectancy was much lower, particularly for the poor, but the right tail still got way out there. The upper bound of human age hasn't really moved that far. Modernity has moved the mean to the right, not the whole distribution.
