Re: Harvard Crimson 2013-2014

I doubt he would want to here that from either, Quinn maybe
He will be going major junior as will a few who are pegged to come in next year.
Mcdavid still going number one. Breaking bone in a fight helped his status, not the other way around

Coming off their first loss of the season, be interesting to see how the team responds. Dartmouth is always a tough place to play.

Waiting for a Malone, Newell, and Blackwell sighting. In the long run, their absences is yielding great experience for some other guys giving Harvard increased depth and experience.

Agree. Horton is certainly fast and good with the puck. Would like to see him drive the net more and create scoring chances. He is listed as a D on the roster - did they move him up because of our depth back there?

Dartmouth played us tough at Bright-Landry and will be difficult up there. But if we can go into Conte and win, then I feel like we should do okay at Thompson. Our speed on that big surface should pay dividends.

Big win for the good guys. And now for the non-conference.

Bentley, BU, UMass Lowell...here we come!

Re: Harvard Crimson 2013-2014

Solid D, good goaltending and a pair of goals add up to a nice road win. We'll know more after Thanksgiving weekend where we stand in the national picture. Can't believe I just wrote that!

Blackwell playing tonight = We have already won.

Way to get back on the ice!

Great news for Blackwell. Hope he is able to stay healthy for the rest of the season.

Tonight's game seemed more like a scrimmage than a real contest. I guess since we've played the Falcons to start the season, I was still feeling that way after the game. We'll take the "W" and move on to BU. Nice to see Ryan Begoon get some ice time.

Watched some of the UMass-Lowell-ND game. Lowell is tough as nails and will give us a physical and defensive challenge. They are also dynamite on face-offs. It won't be easy but when was the last time we were looking forward to playing the #3 and #5 ranked teams in the country? Something to be thankful for I guess!

Re: Harvard Crimson 2013-2014

One thing I noticed vs Bentley was that Switzer tended to take up residence in Harvard's crease and not move. It appeared to be driving Michalek nuts. Not all bad though, I did see one shot blocked clear by Switzers leg.

Yale was a pretty even game and good to watch. I was happy to see Dave Johnston (H'63, All-American '62, '63) back for a visit although a bit odd to see him surrounded by Secret Service and Mounties.

Dear Harvard, please honor the gentleman's agreement on recruiting from now on. It makes you look bad when you violate it.
