Harvard 2011-12 Thread: Celebrating our 375th

Re: Harvard 2011-12 Thread: Celebrating our 375th

Thought you folks would be interested in another recent Harvard commit. Quote below from USHR.com:

"In addition to Harvard, Malone visited Cornell, Princeton, and Michigan STATE"?????? Has there ever been a person who had his sights set on the Ivy League and Michigan STATE???

Live Stats

As there is no TV source I am trying to listen to WHRB on one laptop and tried to get the Live Stats on another.

Very frustrating as the Live Stats apparently does not work. I tried it on both a Windows Laptop and a Mac running latest updates of the Lion OS. Neither works. Before I write a nasty missive to GoCrimson I wanted to check. Has anybody been able to get Live Stats tonight.

apparently there is a way to get video for $10 from a link of the Harvard GoCrimson site but I am not about to give them my credit card number for possible videp if they can't even do Live Stats right

Pretty sure it is 2 different organizations, I believe the video is from RPI's student run tv and was well received on the thread for the early game.

Awesome game tonight vs Cornell!

Sorry I could not get it on TV but listened to an excellent broadcast by WHRB.

Ted Donato seems to have really gotten this team going well!!

Wow - way to go Harvard!

Still can't believe the Harvard score. Congrats. to them. Just wanted to say how much I "enjoyed" watching both of the semifinal games on TV. The Administrators that oversee the ECAC should be embarrased. An an ECAC fan, I know that I am.:mad:

Yes. Don Sweeney who was coveted by Ron Mason the coach of MSU at that time.

Thanks for the kind words. We'll have the call again tonight. TV will not. Also hope the live stats work tonight...it's even worse trying to call a game without them.

Oh well! <sigh>

It was a good season though, much better than last year. A nice job by Teddy and all the players. Best wishes to all the senors.

WHRB, as usual, did a great job on the broadcast. It was silent for about 5 minutes around the time of the 2nd union goal but not sure if they lost the RF feed or just the streaming, where I live the HRB signal is weak.

Alslamerrz - I think you said you are a senior. Thank you for the outstanding job you did on all those away games through the years. Best wishes to you for whatever you do in the future.

Ditto. On the bright side, I would be shocked if Harvard is picked to finish anywhere out of the Top 3 in the ECAC for next year. Killorn is an impact loss, but other than him, Harvard returns a lot (assuming no one bolts early). Really looking forward to next year.

Anyone know who Harvard's non-conference foes are next year?

Thank you very much. I'm going to miss this for sure, though I look forward to being in the stands as a fan next season. Sorry about the cut out last night, if you were listening online, it might have been because our streams all maxed out. Glad people have enjoyed our broadcasts over the years and even if it won't be me, I know we'll be doing good broadcasts for years to come.

Go Crimson!
