Right-wing extremists have been one of the largest and most consistent sources of domestic terror incidents in the United States for many years; they have murdered hundreds of people in this country over the last ten years alone. To date, there have not been any known antifa-related murders.
It would appear from this short article that there is no basis to equate antifa with right wing extremists with regard to terrorism. Is there a recognized terrorist group out there with no known connection to murder?

Less than a day old and already outdated. We do not live in a "civilized" country.
This will not change in my lifetime. Oh make no mistake it CAN change. We can do things to prevent some, or maybe even most of these mass shootings. Things that won't effect my ability to protect my home or keeping someone else from hunting deer or other wildlife. But we won't.
How this actually is gonna change is it is going to continue to get worse. 5 years from now we are going to be living in a country where this just doesn't happen every few weeks. It's going to happen every few days. And I'm not talking about the 250 mass shootings under the current definition of 4 or more people being shot. I'm talking about mass carnage every few days like what happened at the Wal Mart. 20, 30 people dying. or 50 or 60. 100s being injured. Some will appear random. Some will clearly be attacks based on ethnicity or other identifiable group image.
Ten years ago saying the words "We need to repeal the 2nd Amendment" likely would have caused me to throw up in my mouth. But you know what? We need to repeal the 2nd Amendment.

Yes, it’s both sides.
Dayton shooter had body armor and high capacity rifle. Maybe Ohio should spend less time regulating every uterus and work on regulating guns.

Fatally shot by the police within seconds.... It took the Dayton shooter just seconds to shoot at least 35 people, killing at least 9. Thank God he didn't have a knife. How many could he have massacred in a minute with a knife?

Hey, don't diss my state. Governor ordered all flags to be flown half staff. And I assure you he's sending thoughts and prayers to all the victims. Once the next mass carnage shooter sees those flags lowered he'll realize the evilness of shooting up a shopping center or movie theater or nightclub, turn in all his guns to the police and live a life of quiet contemplation and good works.

Like a lot of other problems in out society that will never see a political solution, gun violence is not going to be legislated away. The simplest reason is no one wants to ever admit they were wrong, and appearing to change your mind about a hot-button political issue is seen as a sign of weakness, especially by those on the right. As I posted earlier, I'm not saying change is impossible. On the contrary. We could change this. We could eliminate a lot of it, even most of it. We aren't going to though. I'd sooner believe trump will be indicted when he's no longer president before I'd believe meaningful changes to our gun laws will happen.
Over/under on the number of days before the next one? I say go with ten, and I'll take the under.

The sheer number of guns currently in this country would require military action to get them all, and I guarantee that will lead to bloodshed, since Jim Billy Bob ain't goan give up his guns.

Every shooting and with no legislative action pushes me towards actually confiscating all of them. Screw the gun humpers

We don't need to eliminate guns. How about we eliminate the guns that can shoot 35 people in seconds? How about we eliminate weapons of mass destruction in the hands of people who have no reason to use them? You want a handgun to defend your home? Fine. You want a reasonable rifle to go hunting for deer or duck? Fine. You do not need a weapon of mass destruction. At this point, I would risk whatever path we have to take to eliminate weapons of mass destruction from the homes of civilians. Whatever sacrifices we face now to do that will save far more lives were this nation to otherwise endure for the next 2 or 3 centuries. And please, no slippery slope bothsiderism bull5h!t. We've already seen ONE side of that slope, and it has led to 250+ mass shootings in this country just this year alone.
