These traitors are like sand people. They will be back, and in greater numbers.

My guess is that yesterday was just the next shot and will be followed by many more. And they will escalate. Where I was completely mistaken was in assuming the coup was mainly going to be members of congress in conjunction with a sympathetic (in pars and in some places) judiciary. And it isn't like their anger is just going to go away. How many here are not seething at this very moment because trump's crimes have helped allow hundreds of thousands to die from covid? The difference is the other side is committing acts of violence and will do it again. And again. And again.

5 years from now, or maybe it will take 10, we're going to be living in a country where, on a fairly regular basis, 100 people die going to get groceries on a Saturday morning. We've almost become desensitized to someone walking into a WalMart and shooting a dozen or two strangers dead. What's to say MAGAt terrorism won't become the same thing. Stop it now. However we need to.

Sorry, I'm angry. The one thing we can ALL do is call our representation and ask them to do something. So we should all be calling our rep and senators demanding that they start proceedings immediately. And if enough people demand an impeachment, then they will do it.

The evidence is clear, as is the crime. Make the racist party stand up for either the United States of America or a dictator. If they are personally ok with being terrorized by their leader, that would be valuable to know.

I'm at the point where I think they should not impeach nor invoke the 25th even though one could logically argue either is fully justified. I think he's going to meekly slink away the next 2 weeks and letting him go away quietly might calm some frayed nerves out there.

Time to start healing and moving forward and don't make him a martyr.

Also I am sorry that the woman died. Whether or not it was "deserved" is not my call, but I fully accept that she did put herself in that situation and it could have been avoided. But she's a human being and has family and despite her actions I wish it could have been avoided.
 
The Arizona Republican Party is retweeting anything not negative about Trump right now. I give them credit they aren't being cowards with their treason.

If we do nothing, he could run again in 2024. And how could he be a martyr when he risked the LIVES of all of congress, as well as the VP????? And to those he's a martyr for, it's good to know who the traitors are in this country. Let them all come out, and shame themselves. The best they can do is violence in the total lack of facts WRT to the election. We need to root out these people.

If he's let off, it's just another in a long line of horrible things dumpy has done and have gotten away with. This has to stop, there has to be consequences with actions he has taken.

Yeah, we've tried the quiet approach numerous times. Each time they come back louder, and now, more violent. Screw it. Decisions were made, consequences follow, this has been the way.

He isnt slinking away...in fact it sounds lie he is stalking around the WH angry and lashing out. If he did this today what will he do next? His whole staff had to threaten to quit (including the cabinet) just to get him to half azzed concede at 3am.

He is isolated, scared and angry...and he lost bigly. Plus he lost his only outlet social media. You dont let your blind grandpa drive just cause he is angry and will be dead in a couple weeks.

As for the Vet...I feel sorry for her family but I have zero fcuks to give that she is dead. No one ever thinks about the ending of a suicide bombers life being a tragedy for them. She is no better.

He's not going away quietly. There were rumors he's having a campaign kick off in Florida on Inauguration Day. Could be just a rumor. But his rallies will continue and the worship will grow. I have no idea who will pay but I'm quite confident there are people who will pay for them. He will start a TV network, etc. He. Needs. To. Go. TO JAIL.
