Wait Josh Hawley was tweeting out fundraiser stuff during the attack? The guy who cried like a ***** because 10 hippies stood outside his house?

CNN is destroying the GOP for ginning all of this up. Destroyed Hawley, Cruz, Loeffler and Lady G.

Well of course not the cult aint watching CNN. But it is about time someone put the videos side by side. I know a lot of people who have no idea what is going on unless they see it on TV so dont they know how two faced these clowns are.

I can show that editorial to my dad, and even though he hates CNN he will see enough to know. Yesterday opened a lot of eyes of people who think the GOP was just pulling the same BS they always have.

It could have been, but I don't think so. As I recall, he spent the last few days meeting with Congressional people who were telling him he wasn't going to survive impeachment. That could have been at Camp David, but I'd guess he was still in D.C.

When I was in Afghanistan as a civilian contractor, I worked mostly with Air Force personnel. They told me they were required to take target practice once a year. Yes, you read that correctly, once a year. In a war zone.

However, the AF realized being in a war zone probably required more practice. So, they upped the requirement to ... ready for this ... twice a year.

Yeah I thought it was in DC as well.

Trump didn't flee to resign. He fled because he wants to avoid being seen...

I'm at the point where I think they should not impeach nor invoke the 25th even though one could logically argue either is fully justified. I think he's going to meekly slink away the next 2 weeks and letting him go away quietly might calm some frayed nerves out there.

Leaving office quietly is not a hallmark of leaders like Trump, who live in fear of the loss of adulation and power that defeat brings -- and the prospect of prosecution for their misdeeds once they no longer have presidential immunity.

You might be right. I might have been thinking of a film or documentary. I don't know which movie, but I have these vague recollections of him at CD making phone calls. I'm guessing it has to be F/N I'm thinking of.

I know, I know... dramatizations, but I can't shake the images.

I'm not sure if Hawley did but Cruz definitely sent out some fundraising emails.
