I have to imagine that there's quite the shouting match going on in the GOP cloak rooms right now. Oh, to be a fly on the wall in those rooms.

Biden is nailing his speech right now.

Here is what's going to happen. It'll take a little time. Some people, some of them innocent, may very well end up getting hurt or even killed, but the Capitol will be cleared, Congress will go back to doing it's duty, Biden will be inaugurated and he'll take office. Will crazy people around the country continue to whine about it? No doubt. Will they march and occupy buildings and do all kinds of other illegal or crazy things. Most likely.

What I have always said is that our institutions will hold. They will here today, as well.

Institutions haven't held since he took office. No one can honestly say we have a functioning government right now with a straight face. It will take years to unravel this mess.
 
The apparently had police at the Library of Congress in case anything happened there, terribly misreading this particular group.
 
I'm so glad Biden spoke. And his encore responding to a yelled question was perfect. You could see how much it hurt him to see the nation like this.
 
I just man waving a Confederate Battle Flag in the US Capitol Building today. It took 160 years, but the Secessionists finally did it.
 
I'm back to watching Faux- it's amusing to hear them so strongly condemn this, when they were very much part of this.

These people are shameless.
