What I laughed at was the idea that if Biden won the election, somehow he wasn't going to be allowed to take office.

Here is what's going to happen. It'll take a little time. Some people, some of them innocent, may very well end up getting hurt or even killed, but the Capitol will be cleared, Congress will go back to doing it's duty, Biden will be inaugurated and he'll take office. Will crazy people around the country continue to whine about it? No doubt. Will they march and occupy buildings and do all kinds of other illegal or crazy things. Most likely.

What I have always said is that our institutions will hold. They will here today, as well.

Our institutions have held only because Democrats have defended them while Republicans relentlessly attacked them.

I was 100% against a for-show impeachment based on the Georgia call.

Now I'm 100% for it. Impeach him tomorrow. Remove him from office on Friday. Enough is enough.
