Frozen Four: Don't Forget To Bring Your Parka!

Re: Frozen Four: Don't Forget To Bring Your Parka!

Hey Sean, you gonna be going to the games? Are the Jens coming? Will Brian Gentry pass out on the lobby couch at the Crown Plaza? Will I get to leave another voicemail for Babbitt calling him a wussy for not showing? Will boobs be signed in bathrooms?

Not sure what I was thinking when I registered for a Thursday night class this semester? HS Hockey, St. Paddy's Day, NCAA hockey, I was brain dead.....so not on Thursday but I have Friday off so I may be up for afternoon shenanigans before the boss & I head to Twinkie-town for the opener. :) The lad just mentioned we should try to get tickets for the champ game, will have to see.

Was just at Shamrock's last week, was really good as always but I still prefer the Blucy at the Blue Door. :)

So this picture of you is but a distant memory?

I hate you! ;)

Christ even the bobblehead was laughing

edit: Who is that in the pic with me...is that Mav?

Sean,

What class you have?

Re: Frozen Four: Don't Forget To Bring Your Parka!

I'll put you on the list for twins ticket for opening day. That means they're all spoken for. When we get closer to that day we'll have to decide on a place to meet before the game.

Mookie, if you want breakfast in downtown Minneapolis close to your hotel, check out Hells Kitchen. (Not the tv show.)

You and I should have a conversation about this trip. I'm going to want to know about these breakfast places, for one. :)

Sweet man! I live in Uptown (so I can cab or bus) and I have a (crappy) car so I can meet up wherever is easiest for everyone else. I can even help carpool if needed.

My recommendation for breakfast (and I am sure it has been covered) is any of the Key's Cafes. When I worked downtown we lived on that stuff! Plus some of them have bloody mary bars that rate pretty high if you like that sort of thing.

Re: Frozen Four: Don't Forget To Bring Your Parka!

i was given:
hell's kitchen
al's kitchen
mickey's diner
... my flight is early sunday, so i'm looking at friday and saturday.

I think we're planning on being downtown a little early to have lunch and some drinks. We'll have to meet at a local establishment down there. I'd guess Smalley's, Hubert's or Kieran's.

And agreed on Keys. There is one close to work, I get lunch there regularly, very good.

so i won't raise eyebrows in my cowboy boots?

Re: Frozen Four: Don't Forget To Bring Your Parka!

Cowboy boots are welcome everywhere.

yesterday i'm at my pee-wee's game and wearing my brown lizard boots. the baby is near the arcade area before they started and a little girl (maybe 4 or 5) comes up and is standing near me, looking. i say, 'hi'.

she asked, "are those cowboy boots?"
"yes"
"why are you wearing them?"
"i like them"
"hmmm"
"do you like them?"
"yes"
"where's your mom? is she pretty?"

:D
