It’s horrible. The interference calls off the face off? I mean, every team does that! You don’t decide to start calling penalties like that in the national semifinal!
 
Maybe, but BU's Achilles' heel has been the senseless penalities all season. Elbowing, roughing, interference, tripping, charging. You CAN'T WIN when you're in the box all game. These guys aren't really exaggerating when they say it could be 7-2. And it still might be after this upcoming sequence at the beginning of the period. BU is just gassed playing only 4 D anyway...and now 3 of them are in the box.
 
As a Gopher fan, this is starting to feel like the 2011 North Dakota v. Michigan semifinal game that Michigan won 2-0. NoDak was clearly the best team in the country that year, hit like a f-ckload of pipes, and fell flat on their face. Might be the only time I’ve cheered for Michigan.
 
No doubt Minny is a great team. But you can't give them a man advantage for what amounts to 1/4 of the game and hope to win. And I'm not sure why we're blaming the refs. All of BU's penalties (except maybe the faceoff interference, but Minny had one of those too) are deserved. They've spent half the season in the box. I'm ready to pull out what hair I have left.
 
I saw that puck cross the line. That was a fukking goal. Even the goalie's glove, it was almost completely across the goal line when he covered the puck. That was a blown call by the refs.

The trip that took down Knies near the end of the second period was a terrible call.

That explains why your team hasn't won a title since then. Nothing good ever comes from the skunks winning anything.
 
The loss wouldn’t be as hard to deal with if it weren’t for the perpetual hard-on ESPN’s broadcast team, minus Colby Cohen of course, has for the $B1G$ teams. And Barry Melrose. Jesus H. That guy needs to hang it up yesterday.

Good game by BU. With what you will likely have returning, and the class you have coming in, you will be my pre-season favorite for next season. BC’s incoming class is ridiculous too, so next season Hockey East will likely be the monster conference.
