Just watched the EC vs. Oswego game via webcast and we were happy that the camera operators were able to stay with it after the game as we watched all these seniors getting their picutures taken, group hugging and hopefully discussing how great it would be to go out with an NCAA Championship.

Very Classy and an excellent decision by someone to keep the cameras rolling instead of fading to black. Thanks! We really enjoyed it.

I noticed something during the third period that might make this team unstoppable now. Both McCall and Kivi were sitting with 2 goals each and the puck was being fed to them non stop in an effort to get either or both the hatty. My experience is when teams are committed that much to each other where unselfishness out weighs individual gain, where non seniors recognize the contribution of the graduating class and are playing more for them than with them, then you have a team that will be hard to beat down the stretch.

Heard thru the grapevine that the underclassman were only supposed to pass to the seniors in the game, nice way to pad those stats last minute.

-Seniors put up big numbers on Seniors Day ( what a novel concept)
-EC wins
-EC keeps score under double digits while still accomplishing the above

Whats your point?

Elmira girls get to watch some extra hockey tonight and tomorrow with playoff indications as Neumann and Potsdam play at the Murray Athletic Center. Potsdam trails Oswego by 1 point for 6th place in the ECAC west...Elmira will get a chance to watch both teams which they may have to face in the tourney

Interesting. These are the two "snowout" games that were rescheduled then. They picked Pine Valley to play as it is kind of the midpoint for both teams with respect to travel I would assume?
