5 4, you seem to have your finger on the pulse of Elmira... Do they have some decent recruits coming in for next season? Goaltender? D, Fs? Thanks...

No changes in the polls this week despite a two game sweep of Potsdam as the Soaring Eagles remain stuck at 6th in the nation.

An important 2 game set coming up in the "City of Brotherly Love" as the women head to Neumann College for weekend games against their 4th place conference rival. Puck drops at the 7:00 PM EST on Friday evening and 3:00 PM EST on Saturday afternoon from the Aston Ice Works Arena in Aston PA. A quick scan of Fasthockey.com shows both games are to be webcast for those that are interested. For those of you traveling to Pennsylvania...we'll look forward to seeing you there.

Neumann currently holds a 8-5-2 overall record and is at .500 in conference with a 5-5-0 record. Despite having recorded decisive in conference losses to both Platty and RIT in the first semester the Knights will be a handful as usual as they always seem to get up for their Elmira matches. Sophmore Goalie Shannon Donnely has done most of the heavy lifting for the Knights this year and is sporting a .935 Save % and a 1.87 GA average.

Should be fun in Philly! Go Flyers!

PS: I inadvertently missed the fact that last Friday nights game at the MAC vs Potsdam was in fact "Pink the Rink" night where an announced crowd of 350 raised more than $1100.00 for Cancer research and specifically the Susan G. Komen foundation. Congratulations!

EC is actually tied for 5th with Amherst. :)

A shout out to Briana Saltstone 14' as she garners this weeks ECAC West Rookie of the Week honors in recording her first two Collegiate points this past weekend.

Honor Roll mention went to Caitlin Metcalf 13' on her three assist Friday.

Congratulations to them both.

Fixed it Seymore...

...anyway as luck would have it RIT rolls into Pine Valley with their undefeated streak on the line on the eve of EC's Athletic Alumni weekend. The Tigers enter Friday nights matchup with an impressive 19-0-2 record as they lead in all major statistical categories in the ECAC West. First in Scoring Offence, Scoring Defence, Power Play and Penalty Kill percentage and have outscored their opponents 120-17 this season. RIT's goalie tandem account for both the # 1 and # 2 positions in the Save pecentage, Winning percentage and Goals Against Average in the West.

Leading in all these team categories speaks volumes as to how the Tigers continue to hold the # 1 ranking in the nation. Very Impressive!

In contrast, the only team category the Soaring Eagles hold the # 1 position in this year... unfortunatley isn't even recorded by USCHO.. as Elmira currently sits at 2-0 in stopping teams with lengthy undefeated streaks. :)

Fiver...Fixed her up as well tonight. Extra is the trick. It was worth the 14.99. Was not as cheap as the Scottsman. :D :p.
Good luck against the Engineers, you'll need it. Oddity.... We are seeing them as well on the very same day....I'm sure Seymore in SoCall is wondering what the heck....Just found out a Knight went to the Cards....Will make Seymore wonder even more....I'll be accused of a papulaisian posting. :D. At least you'll understand. :)

Peaked my interest, a mid season transfer, recruit or a coaching change? Ya just never know with that Platty...always pulling rabbits out of the hat.

Narrow it down though.... I think we got some Green Knights, Golden Knights, Neumann Knights, a few Knight named players and at least 2 coaches I can think of that go by Knight..... ?

Kinda miss Trot's....in these delicate situations :(

Accidently stumbled accross it. Did we miss a big announcement?.

As Fiver mentioned, she is not listed on any game sheet as of yet. Not sure if that is because a sit rule applies until next season.

I could have sworn that she was dressed for the Plattsburgh/Norwich game at Plattsburgh on the 12th...but I could be wrong.
