Dump Term 2, 1.01: Sleep Now in the Fire

You know what they say about people who abuse animals/pets etc, that POS Cosplay Kristi Noem proves it. Nice Picture for the world to see at a El Salvador jail.

An earlier discussion, talking about failures of the media in correctly reporting what’s happening, it’s highlighted in that link there. The writer says states that the Florida legislature is debating the new “law”. Words matter, and the difference between “bill” and “law” isn’t just a matter of semantics.

When confusing the two terms the way that writer did, they will create a confusion of expectations with the general public as to whether something being proposed is actually governmentally enforceable.

Confusing the terms also allows officials to ignore or obfuscate what they’re doing as the masses won’t have a clear picture regarding what their government can or cannot do. Confusion creates opportunities for abuse. In the case of that story, the potential of businesses abusing teenage children with open consent of the state, or forcing those businesses to hide it in a (hopefully) diminished capacity.

So, after Wired did some digging and found half the Signal Houthi Small Group chat also had public Venmo accounts, and that passwords and email addresses were publicly available (likely hacked lists made public, and they have since hopefully changed their passwords), this little nugget was found:IMG_20250327_104500_156.jpg

Why would ol' Pete need the Russian equivalent of Hotmail/GMail?

believe it or not, this woman is supposed to be the attorney general of the United States and not a Trump campaign spokesperson

REPORTER: The Signal chat controversy -- is DOJ involved? If so, why? If not, why not?AG PAM BONDI: It was sensitive info, not classified. What we should be talking about is it was a very successful mission ... if you want to talk about classified information, talk about what was at Hillary Clinton's home
