These Republicans voters will never see the truth because this is the sh*t they’re being sold. And we all know Fox is the sanest of their news channels they consume. All we can hope for in 2026 is a repeat of 2018, where Trump supporters stayed home because Trump wasn’t on the ballot.

100%. Zelenskyy was in fact disrespectful, especially with his body language and calling couch-f*cker “JD” instead of “Mr. Vice President.” What’s funny is there are two Black women in here, RNs from the local hospital, and we’re all subjected to this. One of the middle-aged white guys working here walks out from behind the counter and says “All the news is trash these days. They all say the same thing.” Um, sir, you work here. You have the remote. It's a good time to point out to people who "used to look up at the US" that historically, the US has done plenty of hypocritical things to not look up to. The entire western hemisphere below Texas is the way they are because of the US. All of the horrible dictatorships, all of the revolutions, all of the turmoil. And then we go out and get mad at them for trying to get out of the hell hole the US created by moving to the US and provide cheap labor.

But we know that all of the flaws are features in the eyes of the morons.

This isn't the military those people "study". Just like these aren't the courts we usually have. We are in unprecedented territory and dissent is not allowed. (Nor is being a minority ask the Joint Chiefs)

If the military is going to fight, they would have started already. Hegseth basically told the world our Navy is trash, they are killing diversity of any kind within the ranks and recruiting grounds, they are firing respected leaders (like the head of the Joint Chiefs) embarrassing our allies while also outright abandoning them, the VA is all but dead, our intelligence gathering is completely worthless now (and about to get worse) and we suck up to our Anti-democratic enemies. In less than 2 months our military and our country has become a fascist joke...

AND YET what pushback have we seen? Zilch. Maybe some harsh words from retired generals but that is about it. When asked they ditched teaching about Blacks and Women who fought in WWII, they are banning trans people from serving and forcing out those that serve unless the closet up, they are openly hostile to recruiting Black People now at all and whatever EO he signs next week they will implement right away as well. Oh sure maybe some teachers at the Naval Academy will be upset but the rank and file? They will follow orders because that is what they are taught to do.

No one is going to save us, the system is buckling under the pressure. We have to save ourselves. Hell I would bet by the Midterms it will be floated (again) that returning soldiers be used to "save Blue Cities" and we still won't hear pushback from the military in any real sense. (I hope to God I'm wrong)

So, one of the bugs/features of this current administrations firings is there isn't enough staff to prepare for the defense of all these lawsuits being filed.
