The article is written by a Wisconsin blog lol... I doubt it.Maybe the article was disparaging Wisconsin's academic reputation (way too subtle, so probably not ).
I don't know the exact details but have it from a very reliable source that Cianfarano's not comining to Wisconsin it is most definately due to academics...
Couple of things:
- ANY admitted student (hockey NLI or not) that has serious drops in academic performance after admission can be rejected later as a result.]
I know someone who claims that he was the first kid in decades from a little mining town out west to be admitted to an Ivy League school and was so confident that the school officials (indeed, the whole town) were so proud of him that in February he moved away to be a ski bum, never took his final exams and yes (he claimed) he was right, the school administration covered up for him and reported a distinguished set of grades for his spring semester
