Woo, ran 2 miles at a 6:40 pace, would have been faster had the dogs not gotten tired. Not too shabby. 2 months ago I was barely able to push 8 minutes per mile for 2 miles.

Add another 1.1 miles at that pace, and you are looking at a pretty strong 5k result! That's very well done!!! (my fastest 5k is something like 8:40 pace)

For all interested and attending parties:
Alfablue, Mrs. Alfablue, Sloe Gin, Quizmire, and I are doing the Goldy's Run on Saturday morning. Mrs. Alfa and I are doing the 10 miler, and the others plus some non-poster friends are doing the 5K. It would be great to see more posters there! :D

For the month of march my totals are going to be approximately: 9ish miles swimming, 230 miles biking, and 57 miles running. That is probably the most I've ever done. Legs are really feeling it, but I think I'm starting to make minor improvements in all three.

after two hours with a professional triathlete in Minny, my bike now has aero bars and I am very properly fit. For the first time, I feel like I am doing more with less. :)

1:22:45 chip time, 1:23:01 net time. 9th in my age group, and I felt AWESOME!

I had three goals by May 14:

1. Weigh 185
2. Make and eat dessert
3. Make and eat fried chicken

Well, I ate dessert in February, and now I can say that I weigh 185. I'm officially a Clydesdale! :)

Isnt that amazing. I am doing that right now with my running.
Still feels all awkward, but my shins arent toast, it will be neat to see where this goes in a couple of weeks.

I'm working on this as well, but it's hard in a traditional style shoe.

I'm still geeked about Saturday morning. It felt a little too easy sticking with the 8:30 pacer, but that was my objective so I stuck with her. I am exactly where I want to be for Bayshore. If I keep working hard, that 1:50 is mine. :)
