Probably the right move. He's not going to be right the rest of the season, and we're done winning. Might as well get him 100% for next July.

ESPN's Adam Schefter told a St. Louis radio station he is "willing to take all bets" on his prediction that the Rams will select Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford with the No. 1 overall pick.
Schefter admits that he has not spoken to the Rams about the issue, but he insists he doesn't need to because he's "heard enough other things" from people around the league that he considers it a lock. Schefter also "promises" that Bradford is a top-5 player in this draft. If Schefter is correct, the Lions are sitting pretty at No. 2 with their choice of Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy.

With the 2nd pick in the 2010 NFL draft, the Detroit Lions select.......Tim Tebow, Quarterback from the University of Florida! :p

If Millen were still around I'm sure he would have traded up for Tebow.

Monday, the talk was Antonio Cromartie(notes) was getting packed up by the San Diego Chargers and sent off to the Detroit Lions. Now the word from Mlive.com is that it is highly unlikely that the Lions will be gaining the services of the cornerback.

The San Diego apparently asked for backup running back Maurice Morris(notes) in return and the Lions didn't want to part with the 30-year-old, who rushed for 384 yards and two touchdowns last year. It is hard to believe that this was enough of a sticking point to end this little Cromartie party so there are some who think talks are still ongoing between the teams.

Morris' best game last season came against the Arizona Cardinals when he ran for 126 yards and a touchdown.

Chargers end up keeping Sproles instead of releasing him like they planned, and deal Cromartie to the Jets for a 2011 draft pick.

Lions will stay with their girl scout troop playing the corner positions.
