Health care, climate change, and ending the US' addiction to military adventurism were where I was going, but that's a pretty good list.

I know you're supposed to get more conservative the older you get, but I'm moving further to the left. In 10 years, I fear I'll be Trotsky with worse hair. ;)

Ever occur to you that making Bernie looking bad may have been the plan?

There are wealthy interests in this country who do not want the Left to succeed. And while most of them are door stop stupid, they do have the money to buy good strategists.

I grew up on Long Island, I am aware of that.

But she wasn't prim, she was just a celebutante who got a golden ticket. They never learned to do anything but take.

Never take home the head cheerleader. Take the scrappy one who used to have a bit of a weight problem and has to hustle to stay on the squad. That's where you find enthusiasm.

That's cool but I was wondering if there's a more specific policy or policies you're looking for. I'd like to see Biden get the public option done and a Medicare buy in or even expanding it to age 50. I'd also expect gimmicky tax cuts to be reversed and top tier raised. Would love a wealth tax but feel Congress would have to take the lead on that. Looks like he's on board with Bernie's college proposal and Warren's debt forgiveness plan so that's nice.

Oh they are there, they’re usually too busy working for you to actually see them.

I’ve seen enough that it’s a worrying trend. With this election likely to be razor thin I worry it could hurt.

The long term worry is I don’t see how many of the supporters could be brought into the fold, they don’t have any ounce compromise in them, they want to see the world burn.

Gradual impoverishment --> lack of education --> fall under the sway of rightwing racist demagogues --> voting against their own interest --> greater impoverishment.
