The man's on a roll.
Well, glad to hear you're finally employed.

This whole premise is BS. Fact is the higher earning income states pay the federal taxes, while the poorer ones don't (the fed income tax isn't indexed by your cost of living ). So basically rich successful liberals in high earning professional blue states like Mass, NY, CA, IL, MN, etc shell out the bucks with lazy poor uneducated conservatives in states like KY, WVA, AL, AK, AZ, etc don't. That's the bottom line. Places like Texas have huge military bases but they're a donor state (the only donor red state) so that blows this theory to hell. Furthermore, a state like Mass gets its share of research and military dollars, though not through massive bases. The issue is more successful, less welfare dependent people have the burden of paying for the rest of the country.
.
Kentucky has a very popular Democratic governor, as does West Virginia. Arizona had one for 6 years before she went off to Washington. Alabama the last 20 years has had a couple of Democrats in office as well. How do you think they got to be so popular? Mmmm, pork. So let's not pretend this is just a conservative or Republican issue.
Not that I'm cheering for her (quite frankly I hate her) but Palin picks up another trophy with murkowski bowing out.
ding dong the witch is dead, the wicked witch, the wicked witch, ding dong the wicked witch is dead!
Gooooooood riddance.

Although "thank you, daddy" is not the kind of soaring rhetoric I want to hear from politicians.
Janet didn't bring much pork to Arizona before she high-tailed it to the Beltway. She mostly ranted at the feds for not paying for illegal immigrant costs Arizona pays all the time, a perspective she has conveniently lost somewhere between Arizona and the Beltway.
I never really had strong feelings about her one way or another. Although "thank you, daddy" is not the kind of soaring rhetoric I want to hear from politicians. Too Kennedyesque IMHO.
is Patrick "I never worked a day in my life" Kennedy still in office?
I laughed out loud, I truly did. However, as usual, the analogy is innacurate. After all, Poppy Bush didn't look around and say: "you know, I think I'll appoint my "dumb" kid president." But you and Oliver Stone deserve high marks for going (what is it) two days without mentioning Sarah Palin. It's a long journey to wellness.
BDS and PDS are real, and disturbing to witness.
The words "I think Sarah Palin will make a great president" is enough to burst blood vessels.

It's like when people say they believe in Intelligent Design or no money down real estate. Come to think of it, it's pretty much the same people.
Like this... watching them tweak. The ad hominem attack is a pretty common symptom.
You'd probably get a kick rolling a beverage cart outside an AA meeting.
FYPThe words "I think Nancy Pelosi will make a great president" is enough to burst blood vessels.
